Joshua Rodriguez busked out by his pool half naked and waited. Not so long ago he got a call from his infamous new half sibling demanding a meeting with them. Sadly enough Valentino did not have a problem with coming over and bring all the other siblings.
Josh sighed as he saw Malvia approach. She wore a long summer dress, a pair of red heels and a huge sunhat. Huge dark sunglasses covered her face as she strode down the pool side like a hangover model. This is a start of a long meeting.
"You disappeared last night. What happened?" Josh asked as Malvia poured herself his brother's whiskey and sunk into a chair beside him. She kicked off her heel and curled herself comfortably in her dress.
"You didn't expect me to watch you suck a guy off, did you?" Malvia shivered causing Josh to laugh. She finished the whole glass off in one gulp and started to pour another. "Look I'm all for the rainbow nation but two guys fucking isn't exactly the show for me. Especially if one of them is my brother."
"I get that. But that doesn't answer my question because I know you didn't go home." Josh looked at his sister getting red and shielding her blush with another gulp. "Mal? What happened? And slow down on the alcohol."
"Fine, I took lessons. From Daisy. I think I wanna be in the lifestyle. I liked it. Then we went up to the bar and had a few drinks. More than a few actually." She said all in one breath.
"See? Told you."
Just then Patrice and Cal started to approach them.
Patrice was like how Patrice always looked, in pantsuits. Cal on the other hand was casually in jeans and a sweater vest, under this heat.
Cal hugged Malvia when he arrived and gave Josh a fist bump. Patrice simply sneered as Josh's housekeeper brought out 3 more chairs for the arriving guests.
"So Mal,how did things go last night?" Cal asked mischievously.
"What happened last night?" Patrice asked bitterly.
"Oh sister, it doesn't concern you." Mal dismissed Patrice harshly. "It was great Cal, thanks for asking. Although there are things I wish I could unsee." She looked at Josh and laughed.
"What did you expect? For me to go private simply because you were there. No thank you sis. Besides, I'll watch you next time you're brave enough."
"I don't think I needed to hear any of that." Cal shouted putting his palms over his ears and off-key singing to block out his siblings.
Patrice sat back and unlocked her iPad to ignore all of them. They did not even notice, they just continued their conversation shutting her out.
Cal was laughing out loud like a drunken idiot but suddenly went silent. Everyone turned to his view point and sure enough there was a man Josh did not even have to ask for introduction. This man was a spitting image of Patrick Joshua Rodriguez. Josh knows he had similar features with his dad but Valentino was unmistakably Patrick's son.
"Hey everyone." Valentino greeted politely once he finally got to them.
He wore a tailored tuxedo, black and clean. His diamond Rolex blinded everyone under the blazing sun and so was the shine of his dress shoes. His cold eyes did not compliment the smile on his lips at all, it was the most murderous look until today Josh had only seen on his dad.
Nonetheless Josh stood to shake his brother's hand and pleasantries were exchanged and introductions were done.
"So Patrick Rodriguez has fathered five children from four different mothers?" Valentino asked amused after they have explained the situation.
"Five from four that we know of." Snorted Patrice.
"I know I've been stalling. Honestly,I just wanted to meet all of you. I grew up with just my mom so I never really had siblings. The only person I got to meet last night was Calvin and all were absent."
"It's nothing to wish for, trust me." It was Patrice who pointed out. "You're lucky." Valentino was the only one to laugh but probably because he didn't know Patrice really meant what she was saying.
"Really? Patrice what happened?" Malvia sat up so she had a better view of her sister.
"Oh sister, it doesn't concern you." Patrice smugly smiled at her sister. "Congratulations by the way." She turned to Valentino. "We're all very happy for you... very excited." She mused not very happily.
"I'm not here to step on any toes, so I'll appreciate it if we all worked together to built this legacy."
"Patrice will gladly help. Just watch your back around her." Josh voiced, earning a death glare from Patrice.
"What about you? You are the oldest son, owning your own businesses, why aren't you even taking over?"
"I don't want to." Josh said. "Also your father doesn't really like the fact that I prefer to date men."
"You are gay?"
"Didn't you do tabs on this family before joining?" Malvia laughed. "Let me catch you up to speed then: Patrice can't head the company although she's very capable because your father is a sexist prick. Neither can Josh because he is also highly homophobic. Cal went to military school instead of business school and I am a girl who is also only into fashion. Hence you made it into the picture. You're welcome."
"How old are you?" Cal asked a question that's been bugging him for a while.
"A few months younger than Josh. Before recently, the last time I saw Patrick was when I turned 10. He left my mom telling her he's married and they can't be together but he was willing to pay child support. I never saw him since, but he kept sending money for school and daily needs. When I reached out to him I just wanted to pay him back, but we got talking..."
"And he convinced you to stay." Patrice pilled on. "Yep, that's our dad alright, that manipulative bastard."
"I see he's none of yal favourite person."
"We all have different relationships with him."
"Let me guess. Patrice is always trying to get approval and hates the fact that she's not the favourite child. Joshua is the prodigal son and the favourite child who chose rebellion. Calvin is the only one who actually likes the old man simply because there's no personal relations between them and Malvia is the one who doesn't care much. The one who lives futher than the others because she wants away from all the drama. Am I right?"
"Very accurate. Nice."
"I see. Well I'm looking forward to working with you Patrice."
"I hate to be rude, but I have guests coming over." Josh said suddenly. "If this meet and greet is over, it will be okay if you excused yourselves."
Just then Patrice turned and walked right away without even a word.
"It was nice meeting all of you." Valentino said awkwardly. "I'll see you around."
"I'm driving back home tonight," Cal announced after Valentino has left. "Are you coming to the airport with me, Mal? The papers are signed and ready Josh."
"I won't be with you, I'm flying home with Daisy tonight."
"Who's Daisy?"
"A Domme in my club." Josh answered Cal. "Wait, you and Daisy...?"
"No, of course not. I tried a submissive scene with Daisy yesterday, we both agreed I'm not that type of woman. Anyway, Daisy is taking me to this club in New York tomorrow."
"So you're really..." Cal began to ask but Mal shot him down.
"You're one to talk, secret submissive."
"Shoot me for asking." Cal stood up ready to leave. "I'll see you two around. And Mal, Pamela misses her favourite aunt."
Malvia laughed. "Yah, your daughter just wants all the clothes I buy her."
"She wants the shoes more." Cal said as he left.
"So who are you meeting, Jac?" Malvia asked.
"Just going to shock the hell out of your new brother."
