I Was Born To Love You

Bathroom Trip

"Hi baby!" The woman says in an excited voice and rushes to Melanie, picks her up and gives her kisses all over her soft face.

"Hi mommy!" Melanie says as she wraps her arms around her mom and smiles and indulges the kisses being placed upon her skin.

Mommy?

Wait a minute.

Before I could even try to mask my confusion and wonder what the fuck was happening I brought out of my bubble by Leonardo's voice.

"Daisy! This is my wife, Bella." He says as he wraps her arm around her waist, walking closer alongside her, making them come closer to me so that she could greet me. She gives me a soft smile and lets out her hand.

"Hello Daisy." She says. Her voice is incredibly soft and hypnotizing, and she's beautiful. She's tall, has tan skin, gray eyes, long straight brown hair. She had such simple details written on her face, but she pulled them off with such confidence, she seemed like a diamond shining in the dirt.

From this angle, they looked like a normal, happy and healthy family. But fortunately I knew better. No family in this world is happy and healthy, some are just able to hide it under the covers than others. And boy, did Leonardo prove that well. I wonder if Bella knew what her husband did on those windy weekend nights.

I snap out of my thoughts and give a soft smile back to Bella. I shake her hand and nod. "What a pleasure to meet you." I tell her.

"Thank you sweetheart, it is indeed a pleasure." She responds and puts down Melanie and her and Melanie walk down the aisle, Melanie pointing at certain books and whispering about certain covers and characters.

"She's beautiful." I tell Leonardo, making sure the jealousy within me stays out and doesn't reveal itself in a disgusting manner.

"She really is." He nods as he agrees. "I'm an incredibly lucky man, I love her so much." He says with a smile. I suddenly let out a short snicker but then I quickly cover my mouth with my arm and forcefully cough.

"Are you okay?" He asks as he looks at me, his right eyebrow shot up in curiosity.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you. Just need a little water." I respond quickly as I nod. I can't believe I almost let him hear my laugh.

"I'll see you three around, I've got to get back to work." I say a little louder, causing Melanie to run up to me and give me a quick hug. I bend down a little and wrap my hands around the little monster. Bella sends me a small wave and a soft smile. Leonardo sends me one of those weak-in-the-knees smiles and he walks towards Bella and kisses her cheek, causing her to blush and let out a little giggle.

I smile and turn around, keeping the soft small smile on my face until I reach the back room. I grab my jacket, and head to the employee bathroom. Making sure no one is near the bathroom, I had inside, and quickly lock the door behind me. I look in the mirror and see my fake smile shining back at me. I grab my jacket, shove it in my face and scream.

Why, oh why did I have to fall for a guy who was not only married, had a kid, but was also a cheater? This was incredibly unfair. I deserved a man who would love me for me. I didn't want someone who already had their life made, someone who wasn't loyal.

No matter what, no matter how many times I yelled into my jacket, how many times I let a few tears escape my eyes, how many times I banged the hand dryer with my fists, I couldn't get his face out of my head. His beautiful brown eyes that are surrounded by soft lines when he smiles, his laugh that sounded like a soft love song playing in your ear, his soothing voice that made me almost melt at the spot, fall into his control. His spirit lingered within my thoughts, and I knew he wasn't going to leave anytime soon.
