"Y/n please be reasonable." Your father pleads as he follows you down a long hall.

"Father I don't need protecting. I'm not a child anymore" You fire back in a saddened tone, your heart sinking.

Taking your hands your father makes you stop walking. As of recently there has been a great deal of attempts on both of your lives and each one has been getting an even closer call. With a sigh your father squeezes your hands softly, his filled with understanding and fear.

"I know my dear but please understand. I know that this feels like I am saying you can't take care of yourself, I know you're more than capable but I can't risk losing you like I did your mother. The Jedi order has kindly sent two of their own. I shouldn't be gone for too long." You father coos quietly making your heart near break.

Just last year you lost your mother during an attack on your family while out helping the less fortunate. Your father is a known senator and much like Padme is one of a few senators who have a real chance of swaying the rest of the senate. With a sigh you lower your head in shame, it was clear your father only wants the best for you and you had responded in such a unreasonable manner.

"I'm sorry father. I was to quick to judge what you may have been saying. When do these Jedi arrive?" Watching a soft smile creep across your fathers worried face you find yourself smiling back. He's all the family you have left, you can't let him down.

"They are here already, waiting in the library. We shouldn't keep them waiting much longer." Linking your arm around his elbow you walk with him down the cavernous halls to one of your favourite rooms in the whole house.

As you gently push the door open you let your eyes scan across the walls of book before letting your focus land on the two Jedi sat on the sofas. One looks young, his dirty blond hair short and brow furrowed as if he was annoyed at the fact he had to wait so long. His robes are dark, mostly black if you aren't mistaken. The other sits across from him, his hair neatly combed yet still looks rather fluffy. His eyes scan over a book he'd picked up, one of his ankles resting upon his knee making you notice his high boots. His robes are much lighter than his younger counterpart, much more like how you'd imagine a Jedi would look like. Noticing you and your fathers arrival he closes the book with a slight embarrassed blush.

"Please forgive me. This was one of my favourite texts as a youngling." He speaks softly as he stands, the book still in his grasp.

"Master Kenobi please, it is more than ok. During yours and your Padawan's time here it is your home too." You father chuckles admiring the Jedi's humbleness.

"Thank you. This must be Y/n. It is an honour to meet you, I am General Obiwan Kenobi and this is my Padawan Anakin." Obiwan smiles holding out his hand. Taking it your shake it lightly feeling a soft redness creep its way onto your cheeks.

"It is an honour to be meeting two Jedi and a further honour to be under your protection. I also want to thank you further for coming here. I know that the Jedi aren't too fond of politicians and their families so thank you."

Hearing your words Obiwan gives a smile, you clearly knew about the Jedi enough to respect their own personal opinions. With a subtle roll of his eye's Anakin walks forwards facing his master.

"Master I should search the house and find any possible entry points. That feels like it would be a good use of my time." He mutters, clearly not wanting to be here.

"Alright, but no distractions and be back before night fall." Obiwan orders with a thick layer of sass coating his voice making you nearly laugh and his Padawan promptly walks out.

With a pleased smile your father places a hand on your shoulder.

"I shall leave you to it then. I am needed in the Senate for the next few days so I won't be here." He sighs, hating that he has to go away.
