The next morning all of us enjoyed a sleep-in, apart from Hermione, who got up early to finish reading a book. It was around 10am when we got out of bed.

As we walked down the stairs, the smell of golden syrup and waffles wafted towards us - breakfast! I glanced at Ginny and Hermione, before we ran down the rest of the stairs. Arthur and Molly were already up, too busy looking through cupboards to notice that we came in.

"Morning!" Hermione shouted to get Mr and Mrs Weasley's attention.

"Oh, good morning dears!" Mrs. Weasley said kindly, turning to face us. "Feel free to grab a plate," she added. We all eagerly grabbed a plate and loaded them up.

"These are so good!" I said, looking down at my remaining two waffles.

"I'll say! They're the best waffles I've ever had!" Hermione said from the opposite side of the table..

"Mmmmm! I agree. I wonder what we're doing today?" Ginny asked.

"We're going school shopping!" Arthur announced, walking over to us with his own plate of waffles.

"Yay!" Ginny, Hermione and I said in unison.

"Yay indeed. But if we want to go, you better wake everyone up..." Molly said, a smile on her face.

"Oh, we'll wake everyone up all right!" I said with a grin. This was going to be fun!

"Who's room first?" Ginny asked.

"I'm not finished!" I whined.

"Okay, okay," Ginny said, walking away to wash her plate. Hermione followed her, and I did too after the short while it took me to finish off my waffles. Soon we were dressed and ready to wake up the boys.

"Okay, whose room first?" Hermione questioned, her eyes glittering with mischief.

"How about...Harry?" I suggested.

"Why Harry?" Ginny asked.

"Because if we wake up Fred and George or Percy and Ron first, they'll make a big racket, and then that'll wake the others up, which will just ruin it!" I explained in a rush.

"Okay!" Hermione and Ginny both said.

"How should we go about waking him?" Hermione asked.

"We could creep up on him, tap his shoulder and scream - Ginny Weasley loves you!!" I suggested. Ginny's face flushed red, and she charged at me, but I stepped aside, leaving her running down the hallway. I started laughing. She was pretty angry.

"Okay, come on! Let's stop fussing about. We want to go to Diagon Alley don't we?" Hermione said sternly.

"Yes, we do," Ginny mumbled.

"Then let's go!" Hermione said, heading off in the direction of Harry's bedroom.

"Guys!" I whispered, "I have an idea - let's sneak into Fred and George's room, steal some prank stuff, and make them go off in Harry's room!!"

"Sounds good!" Hermione said. We sneaked into Fred and George's room and stole some small fireworks that were stacked in the corner. We ran silently back to Harry's room and lit them up with a lighter we'd found with the boxes. Harry woke up, confused and sleepy.

"What in the world..." he muttered.

"Gooooooooooood morning!" I said in a sing-song voice, "Nice day for fireworks, ain't it?"

"Uh, yeah, I guess so," Harry said, still confused.

"Wake up sleepy head!" I yelled as Harry suddenly started drifting off, perhaps thinking this was part of his dream.
