DESTINY'S PLAY

MISSING HIM

            After the chat with Mohan she went to work with Varun and saw a car following them but ignored it. When she got to work Varun made her sit in Abhi's cabin but she protested then agreed when Varun said he'd call Abhi. At lunch she got a call and answered it without seeing the caller ID.

             "Stop working and have lunch" Abhi scolded making Megha jump and looked around but no one was there making him continue "I'm in Delhi but I've eyes on you everywhere don't worry".

             "Don't worry? You are literally stalking me" Megha argued.

             "No what I am doing is looking after my wife" Abhi said making her smile a little and put work aside.

              "Did you eat?" Megha asked opening her lunch box and started eating.

               "I am now. So When are you meeting your dad?" Abhi asked making her choke on ber food.

               "How did you know that?" Megha asked.

               "Told you my eyes are on you and don't worry the car that followed you this morning is your personal security. He'll take you anywhere just order him and he'll take care of everything" Abhi explained.

                "T..this is overwhelming. Security, stalking and all. Right now I feel like a celebrity" Megha said rubbing her temples.

                 "You'll get used to it. So tell me did you miss me?" Abhi asked.

                 "Why would I miss you? I didn't even think of you once" Megha scoffed.

                 "Uh..huh. I'll make sure you'll regret it when I'll have you writhing and begging under me" Abhi vowed making her widen her eyes and flush.

                 She cleared her throat and said "I'm meeting my dad at six after work. I've to go bye love you" then disconnected the call and sighed rubbing her cheeks.

           Megha exited the building after work to see a man in black suit opening the car back door. She got in while the driver got into the driver seat. She looked at him and asked "What's your name again?"

             "Asif Khan. You can call me Khan mam" Khan said making her nod.

             "Call me Megha. No formalities please" Megha said. The drive was silent and reached her father's house after an hour due to heavy traffic.

              She took her bag and got out then knocked on the door making her father open the door and immediately hugged her tightly making her laugh and say "I missed you too baby".

               They both sat on the couch and her father gave coffee to drink but smelling it she felt nauseous and went to restroom. Her father was waiting when she came out after cleaning up "Are you alright? What happened?" RK asked concerned.

              "I was feeling nauseous since I ate burger for lunch. I should eat light food from tomorrow" Megha said to herself the last part and continued "Anyway I'm here to talk about something important naanna. I want you to get me information about Raghuvaran the owner of RGV industries" and further explained why.

               "Stop at the medic centre and take the pills for your nausea" RK reminded her when she got into the car.

               "Ok baby you take care and don't forget what I told" Megha said making him nod.

               After Megha took the medicine from the medic centre they drove home and she went to her room directly. She freshened up and changed into Abhi's shirt and her shorts then got into bed.

                It has been a week since Abhi went to Delhi and RK was busy in finding information about Raghuvaran while Megha was busy in handling meetings and office work. She was at home after her hectic day and dinner was done and in her bed waiting for him to call.

            She picked at the first ring of her phone "Hello!" making him laugh.

            "Did you sit holding the phone with you?" Abhi teased making her pout cutely.

            "See! I knew you wouldn't care but still fooling myself hoping you'd understand" Megha pouted.

            "I'll come to you before you wake up then you can show me  how much you missed me. Get some sleep because you won't get any from tomorrow" Abhi said making her flush.

            "Gosh! Your mind always runs in one direction. Fiend. Good night come to me soon" Megha said and disconnected the call smiling and took the file from the drawer but shook her head and switched off the lights before going to sleep.
