DESTINY'S PLAY

PROMISE

Megha was looking out of the glass window as the car was taking them to their home in Hyderabad. Since she told Abhi about his parents he didn't utter a single word and remained distant from her. The car stopped in front of the house and Abhi came to her side of the car opening the door then lifted her into his arms and walked directly to their bedroom.

He made her lie on the bed and covered her with the blanket and started moving away from her but she caught his wrist stopping him "Are we fine?"

He sat in front of her and tucked her hair strand behind her ear saying "I just need time to process everything".

"We can both do it together you know" Megha suggested making him smile slightly and mischievously said "Trust me I would like that too but that will only lead to, you on your knees whirithing under me begging" making her eyes widen and blush avoiding his eyes.

He chuckled and sighed taking hold of her face and promised "It's five now, three hours from now I'll come to you and join you in bed" making her hold his wrists and nod.

He kissed her lips hardly before leaving their room making her breathless. She lied back on the bed for a few minutes but the ring of her phone woke her up. She took out the mobile from her hand bag to see her father calling and answered it.

"Where are you?" RK asked with slight anger.

"Home" Megha answered.

"Home? But you aren't in Nissankara  pala-" before he could complete she said "My home in Hyderabad".

"Oh....Wait he took you to your house? But why? I mean you don't remember anything and that guy I'll see him when I come there" before she could speak RK hung up angrily.

She sighed shaking her head and lied back and caressed her bump saying "Sorry munchkins I promise I would never risk you both again. God...I miss your dad already. Where did he go?" and turned to her side before slowly falling asleep.

She woke up when she felt someone spooning her from behind and faced him. It was dark outside and they were tired due to the journey. She caressed his cheek and pecked the tip of his nose asking "What's the time?"

"Half past nine" saying he kissed her cheek before falling asleep on her chest making her run her fingers through his hair and said "I Love You" to which he snuggled into her making her fall back into sleep.

"Megha...Megha..wake up...god lazy girl wake up" she heard Pallavi's voice and groaned before opening her eyes and looked around to see that she is alone in her bed.

            "Where's Abhi?" Megha asked making her chuckle.

             "God you can't even leave him for a second can you? He's in the living room  along with others waiting for you" Pallavi said making Megha sit up.

              "Everyone? Everyone's home then" Megha concluded getting up from the bed.

              "Yes. It's already ten in the morning get ready and come downstairs" saying Pallavi left down making Megha rush into the washroom.

               Megha got ready and slowly came downstairs to see everyone with a serious face while Abhi is standing leaning onto pillar opposite to Adi who's in the same position as Abhi.

               When Abhi saw her he went to the stairs and entwined their hands helping her get down gaining everyone's attention. Devayani rushed to Megha and hugged her before kissing her forehead lovingly "I'm so happy. I still can't believe there are going to be two little bundles in our home soon" and touched Megha's baby bump.

                Megha smiled a little and looked at Raghuvaran who stood up suddenly. He came to her and joined his hands and said to everyone's shock "I'm so sorry Megha I pushed you from the stairs. I didn't know you were pregnant and...and when Abhi said that it's you who saved Maha's life when she was in need I realised my mistake" and nodded at Abhi who nodded back.

                Raghuvaran cleared his throat before explaining "I know RC from twenty seven years. We're friends clicked instantly but I was not honest in our friendship. That day...when Kalyani went into labour she gave birth to twins" making everyone's eyes widen and RC, Kalyani stood up looking at each other.

                "You were on the way to hospital and Kalyani was unconscious that's when Ramesh gave an idea of exchanging his son with both babies so he could live a rich life. He showed me money to shut my mouth. So I took a child and ran from the hospital when I saw you coming but you already saw Ramesh with Adi in his hands but I couldn't return the child because once you get to know you'll kill us and our plan failed and we covered that you had only one so-" before he could complete RC punched Raghuvaran's face and caught his collar angrily.
