DESTINY'S PLAY

SHIVAPURAM

             When they reached Shivapuram it was seven in the evening. The house was a mini palace with workers standing infront of it for welcoming the guests. The workers gave aarati to everyone before inviting them inside. It was big and spacious with workers moving here and there.

             "Rajmata.. we'll inform you once dinner is served you all must be tired please rest for some time" Nagi personal accountant of Nissankara's said.

              The couples room is on the second floor while Varun and Vijay's room on the first floor and old people's room on the ground floor. Nagi opened the door to Abhi's and Megha's room which has a beautiful vintage touch to it. Their bags were already in the closet and the room was neatly cleaned.

               Abhi was sleeping on bed when Megha came out with her face a little pale and slept on bed facing the other side. Abhi opened his eyes sensing her and neared her. He tucked the hair strands behind her ear and kissed her temple pulling her close to him and covered them in sheets.

          Abhi woke up when there was a knock on the door to see Megha still sleeping and got up kissing her cheek and opened the door to see a worker informing "Sir! Dinner is served" to which he looked back and sighed.

           "Would you mind bringing the supper to our room? Tell the family that we couldn't join them" Abhi said making worker bow and close the door.

            Washing his face Abhi came out to see the cart with dinner was at the sitting area in the room. He dismissed the worker and served a plate full of roti rice, chicken and soup before taking it to their bed and put the plate on the nightstand sitting beside Megha.

             He caressed her hair before kissing her forehead and started calling her "Bangaaram... Bangaaram wake up baby you need to eat".

              Megha groaned and whined before opening her eyes blinking at the lights in the room. Abhi put the pillow to headboard and made her lean onto it before giving her a little amount of water. She gulped lightly and put the glass aside before hugging him tightly kissing the base of his neck "Sorry...I thought you'd feel disgusted if I called you in".

              "It's just sickness I would never feel disgusted. Now let's have dinner before you faint" Abhi said pulling back taking the plate and fed her and she reciprocated.

               Abhi sat leaning onto the headboard while Megha sat between his legs with her back to his front. Abhi pulled the sheets onto them since it's cold and smelled her hair "I like the way you smell. So intoxicating..so alluring..makes me want you over and over" making Megha blush.

              "And who's stopping you?" Megha asked in a low voice which made Abhi hug her nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck and sucked it lightly making her lean her head to the side giving him more access to her skin.

              "I don't want to hurt you" Abhi said pulling back but Megha held his head and kissed his lips making him groan and pulled her into his lap completely which made her moan into his mouth.

              Abhi opened his eyes to see Megha sitting beside and caressing his hair and smiled at the view of her holding the sheets to her chest making her roll her eyes and get up.

              When Megha came downstairs everyone was decorating the palace as Kalyani was instructing the workers "Aunty what's happening?"

             "Oh you got up how are you feeling? Maha told me you were having headache" Kalyani asked making Megha understand that Maha covered for her.

              "Yeah I'm fine thank you. Umm...so what's the occasion?" Megha asked changing the topic.

              "Oh since we are here poojari garu said we can do Devi pooja tomorrow because it's an auspicious day" Kalyani said.

              "It's our family's tradition that we take her saara (turmeric, vermillion, saree, bangles, nupital chain and gold)"  Adi continued coming to his mother's side.

              "Wow! I've never seen devi pooja. I wouldn't miss it" Megha said making them smile and nod.

Maha was getting ready when Megha came in with the jewellery box given by Kalyani. She put the necklace around Maha making her raise her eyebrows as she said "Aunty gave me this it's a necklace given by her mother in law which was passed down to generations".

            Maha nodded and turned towards Megha to see her wearing only mangalasutram, nallapoosalu and earrings along with a few glass bangles.

            "Why aren't you wearing anything?" Maha asked making her sigh.

            "Same question again. God I'm tired of answering that I don't like all this heavy Jewellery" Megha complained.

             "Really? People wouldn't think that. What they'll think of seeing you is-" Maha started but was cut off by Abhi who came with a bag in his hand.

             "That this simple girl's husband is so misery even if he has a lot of money with him" saying Abhi made Megha sit on Maha's bed as Maha chuckled nodding.

              "What are you doing?" Megha asked while Abhi took the jewellery boxes out of the bag and made her wear the jewellery making her look more beautiful.

               "Now you like the queen of this palace" Maha commented making Megha roll her eyes and Abhi smile.
