DESTINY'S PLAY

GOING BACK ALONE

            The next time Megha woke up Abhi was caressing her face and hair  thinking 'Are you even real?'

            Megha smiled and said "I'm real" to which he chuckled mumbling "I said that out".

            She hugged him resting her head on his shoulder while he kissed her forehead. She kissed his neck making him groan and say "Bangaaram if you kiss me like that you won't go home today" making her look at him with narrowed eyes.

            "You aren't going with me?" Megha asked making him sigh and sat up leaning onto the headboard making her sit opposite to him.

             He held her cheek with his left palm saying "I can't go home now it will be dangerous for you all. I need to find who is behind this. I didn't want you to involve in this and risk your life that's why I didn't call you".

           "I think it's Raghuvaran. The way he smirked at me when I came to know about the accident it creeps me out even now" Megha said.

           "I know he's the one who did it but we need proof for that and I think he's not the only person behind it there must be someone else too" Abhi said seriously and continued "Anyway get ready Khan is here to pick you up" getting up from bed in shorts.

           Sensing she's not following him to the bathroom he faced her to see her on the bed and raised his eyebrows making her pout and say "Well some beast tore my clothes last night" making him smirk.

           "Says the wife who tamed it" Abhi said and lifted her off the bed and carried her into the bathroom.

           Megha came out dressed after a long bath to see Abhi talking to Khan and sat on the bed taking the sandwich from the side table and ate it. Abhi nodded making Khan leave the room closing the door behind him.

             "Khan will take care of you and don't go alone anywhere. Just be careful and If you need anything else you can tell Khan or call me directly" Abhi said.

               "I need you" Megha mumbled looking at her lap fidgeting her hands making him sigh and held her hand.

                "Bangaaram I need you too but safe and secure. I don't want to risk both of your lives please understand me just for some time and I'll be with you I promise" Abhi said softly making her understand and nod her head.

                 Abhi got up taking her with him and started walking out holding her hand. Khan opened the back door for Megha to get in and sat in driver's seat. She looked at her feet making Abhi kiss her forehead long and hugged her to him "Take care both of you" he said putting his right hand on her stomach and left hand around her.

                Megha came home at nine and everyone was waiting for her with sour expressions. She turned to Varun raising her eyebrows making him shake his head and cleared her throat gaining everyone's attention.

              Devayani hugged her immediately scolding "Mad girl you are turning yourself into self destruction mode. We are so worried".

              "Aunty I'm absolutely fine don't worry. I won't do it again I promise" Megha said pulling back with a smile making everyone sigh and confuse at her liveliness

              "What changed?" Raghuvaran asked with narrowed eyes making Megha still.

              She faced him walking towards him and crossed her arms smirking "You see what's the use in crying? I should make the people cry who did this to our family. Don't you think so?" making him gulp and clench his jaw leaving everyone shocked.

              Megha went to her room saying she'd rest for sometime and locked the door behind her. She went to the dressing table and put kumkuma in her hairline covering it with the side partition of her hair.

              She fell on the bed with a grin and picked the phone when it started ringing "I miss you" saying she kissed it making him chuckle and say "I miss you too".

              "Oh my god you should've seen Raghuvaran's face when I warned him. It was so funny" Megha laughed.

              "I told you to stay safe don't go near him" Abhi warned making her pout then she said 'okay'.

              "I want to be with you" Megha said slowly making him sigh and was about to say something but she continued "I know it's just a few days but can I come there after work please?"

               "Fine! We'll meet tomorrow then" Abhi said making her fist pump.

               "Ok....double ok love you so much" she said and disconnected the call.
