A Missed Opportunity

JJ woke in a hospital bed. Her hand was wrapped, she had gauze covering her leg, she was hooked up to an Oxygen machine.

"Hey my beautiful girl. You had an anxiety attack." Penelope said holding her good hand. "How are you my sweet?" She asked.

"I miss her. But I'm good." She replied sniffling. "I want to go home."

"Let me get someone to drive you." Penelope said smiling.

The blonde nodded as Garcia got an officer. She helped walk her to the car and waved goodbye.

It was a quiet drive. She sat in the passenger seat looking out the window. As they slowed for a stoplight she jerked forward. They got rear ended.

The officer got out to get the drivers information. She wasn't paying attention, her eyes still looked out the window.

Bang

Her heart dropped. She turned to see someone climbing into the drivers seat. It wasn't the officer.

"Hey Jenny. Someone is looking for you."

She looked at his shirt and saw the blood.

She closed her eyes and waited for it to be over. Soon it was. She took in the world around her. It was a nice neighborhood with what looked like toys in a couple yards. He walked to her door and pulled her out. He walked her into a house with a gun to her back.

She was led through the hall and he opened the basement door. She started to walk down as he ended with a shove. She fell down and looked up. She saw a glass box with a brown haired girl with her back against the glass.

It was her brown haired girl.

Will grabbed her hair and walked her to a glass door. "Get in." He said throwing her on. She landed on her knees. He walked up the stairs and slammed the door.

"Hello?" JJ heard Emily say. She had her eyes closed shut. She got up and ran to her girlfriend. "It's me Blackbird. I'm here." She said stroking Emily's hair out of her face.

The brunette opened her eyes. "You're here." She whispered grabbing her closer. Her arms wrapped around the blondes waist.

"I'm so sorry." She repeated into JJ's ear between sobs. Emily pulled JJ tighter into her arms. JJ didn't push away. She didn't know what had happened and was happy to have her girl back.

After a little while Emily released her arms. JJ put her hand on her cheek and softly kissed her lips. She connected their foreheads and just held her.

"I'm sorry I scared you." Emily whispered.

"Don't be. I'm sorry I couldn't find you." JJ whispered back.

"It's okay. I know you'll always be looking."

The moment was ruined by the basement door opening. JJ looked through the glass as Emily leaned against the glass curled up in a ball.

"Are you ready to have some fun Jenny?" He taunted. Chills ran down her spine. He opened the glass door and walked towards JJ. She backed against the glass as Emily crawled in between them.

"Don't Will." She said looking at him. He walked around her and grabbed JJ by the hair.

"Will please no. Take me. Don't hurt her. Whatever you are about to do, do to me." She begged and kneeled in front of her. He pushed her to the side and started to drag JJ out. Emily crawled towards him.

"Stop Will take me. I'm the one that convinced her to ditch your sorry ass." She yelled. He stopped and glared at her. He let JJ go and walked towards the brunette, pulling her by the arm. JJ tried to run towards the door but fell to the ground.
