"Hey JJ? You okay. You've been in there for a while." Emily said with a knock on the bathroom door. The blonde had been in the bathroom for ten minutes. She was starting to get worried. "I'm on the other side of the door if you need me." She finished as she sat against the door. JJ sat on the other side of the door trying to fix her makeup. "Hey Jay. Hotch says we have a case." Emily said as the door opened and she fell back against JJ. "Oh. Hi. You good?" She asked. "Great. This is good news. I'm happy." "So your gonna do it?" The blonde nodded and helped her to her feet. "Fun. Now how do we tell Hotch we are very drunk." She said as she laughed. They called an Uber and headed off to the BAU

Hotch sat at his desk as the two drunk women found their way to the chairs across from him. "You two drunk?" He asked as he saw what they were wearing. The two were still wearing their sweatpants and tank tops. They nodded. "Okay. You two go home to sober up and you can help from the office here." He told them as he led them back out to the elevator. "Garcia!" He called out as she speed walked to the group. "Can you drive them each home. They're drunk and have to wait it out." The bubbly blonde nodded and walked them down to her orange Cadillac.

"Everyone met Esther." She said helping Emily in the backseat and JJ in the passenger as she got in the drivers seat. "Awe. It's adorable in here Pen." Emily tried saying. It sounded more like "Awe it's blaborable." "Oh thanks. Don't puke in here. Use the puke bags." She said as she leaned back and pulled a box with the words "puke kit" from under the front seat. She opened it and pulled out paper bags and air freshener.

"Give it." JJ said as she pulled the bag out of Penelope's hands and puked in it. Emily laughed as Penelope gave JJ a grossed out look. She slowly brought the the air freshener can and sprayed JJ with it. "Hey!" JJ said to the blonde spraying her with Febreze. "What?" The blonde shot back. "It smells like unicorns and rainbows in here. I don't want the stench of your vomit and..." she smelled the air. "Fruity vodka?" The brunette in the back piped up. "Yeah that was mine. I puked out the window." Penelope snapped her head back to look at her. "Emily!" She opened the door to make sure she hadn't gotten vomit on her car. She gave a sigh of relief when she say she hadn't and drove away.

She managed to get Emily into bed and drove JJ to her apartment. They got through her front door and walked to her bedroom. "Here. That shirt smells horrible." Garcia said as she tossed a sweatshirt at JJ. The two had known each other for so long changing in front of each other was normal. As JJ started to put on the sweatshirt Penelope turned and noticed a bruise on JJ's arm. She walked over, poked it and asked "What happened?" with worry in her eyes. JJ looked and came up with a quick lie. "Oh." She she said. "I- uh must have bumped it at Emily's. Didn't notice it." Garcia nodded, not believing it. She may not have been a profiler but she could tell somethings weren't adding up.

JJ's head was pounding. She woke up to a text from Emily

Em
Hi. I don't remember anything after calling you. Do you. I got into bed but I didn't see you. Making sure you're ok. I'm gonna pick you up in an hour. Hotch said we're gonna work the case from here.

JJ's POV
Crap. I kissed Emily. I was drunk and I kissed her. She can't know. What if she looks at me weird. My mind was racing. I walked to the bathroom. I only had an hour before she would be here and I had bruises to cover. "Jennifer?" I heard as my front door slammed shut. He was here. I could smell the whiskey from the bathroom. He was drunk. I left the bathroom with makeup over my bruises. "Hey. Emily is here to go work on a case." I lied with a small smile. I tried to walk past him to get out the door but he grabbed my wrist. That was gonna bruise. I looked in his eyes basically begging in forgiveness. He pulled me back as I tried to grab the doorknob. I stumbled back as he started getting closer. My back hit the wall and he kept getting closer. "I told you not to lie Jennifer." I could smell his breathe. Before I knew it my cheek burned as his hand came across my face. "Don't do it again." He spat at me before he stumbled into the bathroom.

I crumpled to the floor when I knew he was out of sight. But I had to get up. No one can know. Not about this. Will is a liar. He'll find a way to lie about all of it. It'll cause problems, big ones. I looked at the clock and realized Emily was probably downstairs. I grabbed a jacket and ran out the door before he could come out of my bathroom.

Well our bathroom.
