Suddenly, I hear a male voice coming from above and my eyes widen and my smile almost instantly disappears as I turn around and look up to see...
K-Kim Jibeom?!
He's standing at the edge of a balcony on the second floor, his folded arms resting on the banister as he looks down at me, and I notice his eyes widen as well as our eyes meet. "You're-"
*gasp* Does he know who I am? Oh, shoot! Is he gonna get me arrested? Am I already caught? Oh, please, someone help!
"You're that girl who bumped into me at the party!" he says in barely a whisper and my eyes widen.
W-what? He doesn't know who I am?
"I mean, you are that girl, aren't you?" he asks me, his brows furrowing as he looks at me with a curious look.
"Uhmm..."
"Yes, it's definitely you," he says again as his brows go back to normal and a gentle smile forms on his face.
So he really doesn't know me. Phew! I thought I was toast for a moment.
"So, uhm... What are you doing here?" he asks and I look back at him to see his head tilted sideways as he looks at me, that curious look back on his face.
"H-huh?" I look at him, a confused look forming on my face.
"The party had ended almost 20 minutes ago already. What are you still doing here?"
My eyes widen again. "'T-twenty minutes'?! I've been wandering your garden for that long?!"
Jibeom's eyes widen at my words, then he suddenly starts laughing softly.
I would usually be annoyed, in fact, I should have been annoyed at that time, but for some reason, I just couldn't. Instead, my eyes only widen even more as my heartbeat accelerates once again while I'm looking at him softly laughing.
What the- What is this feeling?
"So you actually got lost there, too," Jibeom says once he stops laughing, though a smile is still on his face as he looks at me. My heartbeat accelerates even more when he looks at me with that smile, and I can almost hear it pounding already. Suddenly, I realize what he just said.
"Wait, 'too'?"
He laughs again and I swear my heart is about to explode now.
How can someone look so angelic while laughing?
"I got lost in the gardens several times before, too," he says with a smile.
"O-oh..." is all I can say as I lower my head.
"Yup. That's why I choose not to go in their again."
"Weird," I suddenly find myself saying as I look back at him, "and I thought you'd know because you live here."
"Nope," he says before laughing softly again. "It really is weird, isn't it?"
A smile forms on my face as I breathe a laugh while looking up at him.
"By the way, I never really got your name," he suddenly says and my eyes widen.
"M-my name?"
Jibeom nods and I start to regret ever meeting him again.
What if he knows me just by name? I'll surely get into trouble. I- Wha- What do I do?
"M-my name is..."
But I don't think I can lie to him, though. He looks so innocent, it would be a crime to try and deceive him.
"Uhm, my name is..."
