chapter 18

Yamamoto's pov

As I walked way from the changing room I was trying to process what I had actually saw . Then the rest of the team started walking to the room I just retreated from . " Guys you might wanna not go in the changing room " Kai raised and eyebrow before replying " and why not " I pointed to the room before responding " Ash and captain are doing each other "

One of the first years gasped and sprayed their drink all over the floor in front of him . A shocked expression lingered on his face as he started blinking in confusion .

" You're gonna have to clean that up " Kai glared at the kid and he nodded nervously . Then the scared figure rushed off to find something to clean the mess up with .

Kuroo’s pov

After Yamamoto ran out of the changing room Ash has been really jumpy . I accidentally dropped my phone on the floor and he got shocked by it .  

“ It’s okay Ashie “ As I comforted him I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him from behind him . He relaxed his shoulders when I rested my chin on top of his head . Then the door opened again . But this time the whole team walked in . “ I understand you want to have some fun and all but we've gotta get ready from the big match “ Kai spoke in a stern voice as he walked further into the room . I nodded and started changing into my volleyball uniform .  

I managed to get changed quicker than any of the other boys . But when I looked around the room I saw Ash . Although he had his back to me I could still see the slim shape of his body . Somehow I ended up looking at his but . Which was covered by a thin layer of material that looked like it had mini batman symbols on it . When Ash turned around I immediately started blushing and looked away from him . Only to find Yamamoto was watching me and smiling at how I reacted to the situation .

Ash’s pov

After quickly swapping my shirts over so no one saw my scar I had . I slid my trousers down my legs and then stepped into my red shorts . Then I turned around to see Kuroo looking at me with a pink tint on his face . Yamamoto stood at the other end of the room with a smile in the corner of his mouth . But no one else in the room had noticed , they all continued to change into their uniforms .

Ash’s pov

We all walked out into the gym to start today's practice session . Kuroo was the last one to leave the changing room . Following behind him with a smile on his face was Yamamoto . 

" Right so everyone we've got a big game coming up soon , so we've gotta make sure we can be on top form " The whole team nodded in unison before they all ran off to practice individual things . But I just stood still , not knowing what to do . Kuroo smiled and walked over to me . When he saw me standing in the middle of the room looking at the floor . I held one of my arms with the other as I admired my shoes .

Once another pair of shoes came into view , I flicked my head up to see the captain of the team standing in front of me . “ I’d say you need to practise your receives Ash “ After nodding slowly as a reply Kuroo firmly grabbed my arm making me blush . Then he began to quickly walk across the room . So I glared at him unsure of what to say . ” I thought you’d want some help practicing “ . My reply was a small smile . Which he greeted with an all to familiar laugh .
      
Time skip : at home
Ash’s pov

“ So are you still alright for today Ashie “ I nodded excited at getting the opportunity to hang out with Kuroo more . Then I ran into my house and up to my room . When I got there I threw my bag onto my bed . All before running back outside to meet up with Kuroo . Who was waiting outside my house .

As I peered through the window I saw him . The captain of the school volleyball team stood outside my house waiting for me . I started to smile as I began to think about him . What he looked like after he had been training . Sweat dripping down his face from his forehead . I started to get excited just thinking about the fact that he was still wearing his sweaty uniform .

I was just about to move to open the door when I noticed the lump that had formed underneath my school trousers . This caused a surge of panic to shoot through me . ‘ What was I gonna do , if I went out there like this kuroo would immediately notice ‘ .

After spending the next few minutes thinking about what i was gonna do . I noticed my coat that went down to my knees was hung on a coat hook in the hallway . So I grabbed it and wrapped it tightly around my body in an attempt to hide the obvious need for contact .    

Before walking out the door I looked over myself in the mirror . Then I reached my hand out to the door and opened it . To see Kuroo stood at the end of the driveway . He had one of his hands in the pocket of his hoodie . While the other was scrolling on his phone . As I shuffled over to him I gulped nervously .

“ Are you ready to get going then Ashie ? I nodded to Kuroo and we both started to walk off in the direction of his house . Kuroo agreed to help me with the confusing math homework I got . So we decided we would go to his house after school .

Time skip : 10 minuets
Kuroo’s pov

Ash's face nervously scanned over the building Infront of him . I was standing next to him glancing from his face to my house . " Common then " Once I encouraged Ash that it was alright that he was at my house .

We both walked closer to the two story building . But Ash still seemed a little unsure . So I folded an arm over his shoulders and together we both further approached the house .

Ash's pov

Kuroo's house seemed tidder than I thought , especially because he lives with his dad . After all the times he's complained about his dad leaving the house in a mess it's a shock to see it tidy .

" You can hang your jacket over there if you want " I turnt around after hearing kuroo's voice . He was pointing to a bunch of coat hooks that were on the wall behind me . But as I didn't want him to know about what happened when I was fantasising about him , I politely refused . Wich confused him .

After refusing to take my coat of Kuroo lead me on a tour around his house . He ended the tour at his bedroom . Wich is when he started getting some text books of a book shelf and dropping them onto his bed . " So how about we start with some simple stuff "

I nodded nervously for some unknown reason . Possibly because I knew I still wouldn't be able to understand the homework . Or perhaps it was due to being in Kuroo's bedroom when it was just us two at his house .

Time skip
Kuroo‘s pov

We have been sat on my bed for almost twenty minutes and Ash still hasn’t taken his coat off . I don’t want to scare him but I'm starting to get curious as to why he's still got it on .

“ Ash “ The anxious kid looked at me confused . Then I continued . “ you’ve still got your coat on “ His face immediately fell after i spoke . “ I..it’s okay ..i...i’m kinda ...c...cold “ I raised an eyebrow to question what he said . Then I reached my hands out towards him so I could attempt to undo his burden . Which also happened to be his coat .
