Five days had gone by like the wind . The same routine each day , wake up , kenma goes to school , kenma comes home , dinner then bed .
Tomorrow was gonna be different though because it was Saturday . The day I was gonna leave the comfort of my new living environment and venture into the world to see kenma at his match .
Time skip : the next morning
I got dressed in my blue jeans , a red polo shirt , my red and white converse . Then I wandered down stairs to see everyone waiting for me .
Clutching my phone tighter I followed everyone to the car and we drove to the avent .
Once we were there Kenma got out first after speaking to us " I've gotta go and practice with the team before the match " And with that he left .
Silence drifted throughout the car until kenma's mum spoke " so do u like volleyball " I shock my head with a regretful look and she replied " oh ... um well ... it'll do you good to get to know what Kenma likes " I smiled at what she said to try and prevent the awkward situation .
Time skip outside the gym
The building was filled with the sound of shoes squeaking against the floor . People piled into the building to see the match . The team must be really popular or really good because of the amount of people entering the building .
Breathing out nervously , I began to approach the building . The sounds of people running and jumping grew louder as I approached . Then as I stepped into the gym the lights shone down temporarily blinding me . Once my eyes adjusted to the light I looked curiously around the room . That's when I saw Kenma and the guy with spiky hair talking over the other side of the room . Kenma was playing on his phone and ignoring the other guy . While the rest of the team were warming up .
As the team gets ready I walk over to where Kenmas's parents are sat and sit down next to them . The game didn't really interest me so I started zoning out . Thinking about earlier on in the week when I saw Kenma talking to the kid with the spiky hair . who is that kid , he seemed to be quite childish .
After the game kenma walked over to me with a small smile on his face . " hey you alright " I hadn't realised but I was showing a worried expression . " hey Kenma " The spiky haired kid came running over after waving to my cousin . Sighing dramatically, Kenma turned to see his friend walking over to us . " Seriously what's he doing " Mumbling out a response , the black and blond haired kid glanced at me .
" you're Ash right , Kenma's cousin " The guy with spiky hair smiled politely and tilted his head to the side . I reacted quickly stepping back slowly , away from the over friendly character . Kenma gives his friend a bored look . " you're impatient " His friend nods and wraps his arms over Kenmas shoulders . " oho ho , Kuroo , mate that was a good game " Behind the two friends the captain of the opposing team was running over .
The captain with silver hair came bouncing over . I slowly walked back further . Not wanting to engage in a conversation with any of them . While trying to stay calm I noticed kenma and kuroo's attention was on the white haired character . So I decided to disappear while they weren't looking .
Once I got out side I doubled over to get my breath back , after all I did run out of the gym . My breathing was so deep I didn't notice someone else also walked out of the gym . " those two being annoying ? I lifted my head to see a kid similar age to my cousin with black hair stood next to me . Nodding in agreement , pulled out my phone to check the time . " There always like that " This time I laughed at his face as he showed his opinion on how his two friends act .
My phone buzzed in my pocket . I unlocked it to find I had a message from my cousin .
Kenma : hey , where did u get 2
Ash : outside
Seconds later kenma walked out the gym door and over to where I was stood . " We're going home now " After letting me know , he nodded to the other character " he's your cosion isn't he " Kenma nodded then pulled out his psp and started playing a game . " It's nice meeting you , although I probably won't see you around cuz I go to a different school " smiling politely , I followed Kenma back to the car .
