Kuroo's pov

I opened my eyes to see Ash's light brown hair in my face . After last night he seemed to feel better now . He was so peaceful when he was asleep .

The bedroom door slowly swung open and Kenma walked in confusion on his face . " Kuroo " I brought my finger to my lips in a silencing motion . Kenma looked down at Ash and nodded " okay , five more minutes " After agreeing with my friend I picked my phone up off the set of drawers next to the bed . Then I started to scroll through instagram .

I stopped when I saw my friend who is the captain of Fukurōdani's Volleyball team had posted a picture. The picture is of of him and the teams vice captain , they were at the park . Bokuto , the captain was stood posing while the vice captain Akaashi was looking as grumpy as he usually is .

There is a caption that Bokuto wrote above the picture . Wich read ' early morning practice at the park , omg Akaashi is still as grumpy as ever ' I laughed at what my friend wrote . So I then commented on his post ' lol you're not wrong there ' Then I sent a laughing emoji .

To which seconds later he replied to with a simple ' lol ' . After that he called me . I didn't know whether to answer as I did want to wake Ash up . But I ended up answering .

" Oho ho ho " I smiled at my friend and mimicked the phrase .  " So what's up " I spoke quietly so I didn't wake my sleeping friend up . Bokuto started talking enthusiastically about random stuff and I just agreed . But suddenly he stopped " where are you , that doesn't look like your room " My cheeks grew warm as I thought of how I was gonna explain the fact that I'm lying in bed next to the new kid at my school . That's when my silver haired friend smiled " don't tell me you had some fun last night and didn't invite me " panic set on my face " of course not , I just feel sorry for the kid " He laughed at my reply " ye ye "

The room went quiet as I thought some more on how to convince my friend . Until Ash started stirring , then woke up . " K… Kuroo , you're still here " A blush was clearly visible on Ash's face as he spoke in a dry voice . The sound of his voice made my insides warm as I grinned at him .

Ash reached over to the draws for his phone . Once he had checked the time he jumped up immediately shocked . " We've gotta get ready for school " I nodded at him and ended the call with the way to curious Bokuto .

Once I was dressed I walked over to the window and turned around to Ash . After winking at him I climbed out the window leaving him stood there in silence .

Time skip : breakfast time
Ash's pov

After Kuroo left out the window , Which was weird , I walked down stairs to see Kenma stood in the hall way " comon , we can stop of at the shop if you want some breakfast " I nodded even though I wasn't sure why . To say I haven't eaten much later would be an understatement . What I would say is I just haven't been feeling hungry .

When we were almost at the train station Kuroo jogged up behind us , still smiling . " Hey Kenma , hey Ash " My cosion just ignored him and continued to play on his phone . Where as I nodded then went back to playing on my phone , just like my cousin .

Time skip : Lunch time
Ash's pov

The day went by really fast . One minute I was sat in my first class and the next I was sat outside with my cousin and most of the volleyball team .

After leaving home late this morning I didn't get anything to eat but I didn't feel like eating . The boys from the volleyball team were all sat around me eating their lunch . Although I had some food with me I did eat it .

Kuroo noticed me to be the only one not eating and decided to make a joke about it . " Are you a vampire or something Ash " Then he signalled to everyone else who was eating unlike me .

Looking around the group of boys I realised they were all looking at me curious to what my answer would be . But I wasn't gonna reply to his joke so I got up and left .

So I walked to the only place at school that I knew . The gym . Even though I only know it because I spend an hour here every day after school .

I spent the rest of lunch sat alone playing on my phone . Until the bell rang , wich is when I went to my next lesson
