' I know I probably shouldn't still be mad at Kuroo , but everything just seems so confusing lately ' I have been lying on my bed looking at the ceiling for ever , since me and Kenma got home . Just wondering about how I've changed so much , just because of my parents death . After inhaling I breathed out a shaky breath . Then began to quietly cry to myself . What was I gonna do? The captain of the school volleyball team clearly has a crush on me and the person who I presumed to be my best friend for many years also likes me .

Running a hand through my hair I sighed and then whipped my face . A quiet tap then appeared at my window . So I curiously got up and walked to the window . To find that stood on the grass beneath my window was the person I didn't want to see or talk to . His face looked worried as he looked up to my window . Kuroo looked at me as though he wanted to talk to me but I shock my head in response . Which he frowned at and his head dropped . Followed by him turning around and starting to walking off down the road .

While turning away from the window I immediately started to regret my decision . All I needed to do was to run after him . But was it worth it , if I decided to do so . ‘ Should i do so ‘ .

Taking one quick look at my phone and the recent conversation between Rel and i . I only took a second to think before I grabbed my shoes and phone and ran out of my room . Down the stairs and straight out the front door , despite kenma and his mum and dads confused calls . To me running out the door .

As I stretched my legs out far in front of me , then stamped them down on the pavement the wind gushed through my hair . It didn’t take long for me to catch up with Kuroo although he had started five minutes before me .

“ H… hey , kuroo … w… wait up “ As i ran up to the tall figure with one of my arms outstretched , breathing deeply . He turned around with a relieved face . “ Ash “ Kuroo’s eyes widened as he looked over what I was wearing . After rushing out the house I forgot I was only wearing a vest-t and trackies . The spiky haired captain nodded to himself then looked me dead in the eyes with a serious expression . “ I’m sorry about the other day “

Although I thought it was confusing that I felt disappointment at what he said , I somehow didn’t manage to show my expression .

We stood facing each other for a while . Not saying anything . Each of us supposably waiting for the other to break the silence .

That’s when the sky interrupted us with a loud clap . But as a storm began to gather in the sky , I didn’t seem to be bothered by it . I was just looking Kuroo straight in the eyes . He was looking back at me with a calm expression .

Rain darted down around us as we stood facing each other . Our eyes still locked together . Kuroo's cheeks were tinted pink , not sure yet if it was because of the weather or how close we were .

" So " I shrugged to persuade Kuroo to continue explaining . " What did you want to speak to me about " Kuroo rubbed the back of his neck nervously " well , I just wanted to apologize for the other day when I ... " His sentence was cut short when I leaned up against him and smashed my lips down on his .

He firstly seemed shocked . But after a second he started kissing me back . The world around melted away and I felt weightless . It was still raining , but heavier . I didn't care . I wasn't scared anymore . For I had Kuroo . I'm not sure if we're actually a thing yet but , I'm sure I need him because I can't keep on pretending .

After a while we pulled away for air . Kuroo then breathed out calmly and looked at me in the eyes “ pretending isn’t everything you know “ Gulping nervously , I realised something he told me was right but I didn't want to believe him .

I spent the next five minutes trying to read his expression , I didn't have a clue what he was thinking . Until he pulled out a small chocolate bar . The same flavour as the one I had yesterday then started smiling . So i kindly accepted the item while laughing .

The violent weather around us was still raging on . But it didn’t seem to bother me . Maybe because Kuroo was with me . Honestly I don't know why .

“ How about we go back to your place to get out of the rain “ Kuroo gave me a kind smile as he held his right hand out to me . “ Do I have to? My mumble of a response made him laugh “ ye , ye you do “ After sighing , I forcefully slapped my hand on top of his . Which he smiled at . Then together we both started walking back to my house .

One we reached the house i snached my hand back from Kuroo . While doing so my cheeks became clouded by a blush that had crept it’s way onto my face .

Seconds later Kenma came running out of the building . “ Why were you too standing in the rain talking “ The spiky haired tall figure standing behind me , nodded to me . So my cousin looked at me with a questioning look . “ it’s nothing that important “ After evading the question i walked around my cousin and into the house . “ Kuroo shrugged to Kenma then followed after me . “ Wait up Ashie “ Kenma then spoke in a confused tone in response to what his friend said “ Ashie ?

Kuroo’s pov

I followed Ash up the stairs and into his room . A hyper expression was lying on my face . When Ash stopped walking I also did , but I stood really close to him . But when I leaned in to continue what we started outside . He planted his hands against my chest and pushed me away . So I stepped back with a confused face . “ What’s up “ Ash looked at me nervously . Then he went over to his bed and sat down . “ I don’t know if i can “

Walking over to him I replied to his worried tone “ What do you mean Ashie , cuz if it’s about us we can take things slow “ Ash shocked his head with a worried look deep in his eyes . " I’m not s… sure , and I still need to give Rel a answer “ I gave Ash a look to say I was confused and he continued . “ I'm not sure who I like m… more " At the end of his sentence he started crying .

Within seconds of him starting to cry I had stepped closer to him . So I could pull him into a hug . “ I like Rel , b… but i also like this guy i know “ ‘ Now's my chance ‘ i thought to myself . So I decided to find out who the guy he said he likes is , but carefully . “ So this guy , is he good looking “ Ash surprised me as he started lightly laughing against my chest “ He thinks he is “ Then he looked up into my eyes and continued to laugh . “ It’s me isn't it “ As I replied with a sarcastic tone and Ash started to blush .

Ash’s pov

“ Hey but i am good looking “ I immediately started laughing at Kuroo who was still upset by my joke . So i grabbed one of his arms to get him to be quiet “ it was just a joke , ok “ Then he gave me a disappointed look “ wait so if that was a joke , you actually think that “ The only response i was able to show was a deep blush that spread across my face . “ awwww , Ashie “ Before I had time to react Kuroo pulled me into a hug and squished my face against his chest .
