"The Office of Emergency Management (O.E.M.) is a permanent division of the city of Los Angeles. In the event of an emergency or natural disaster, its director has the power to control and command all the resources of the city."

The Gummi Ship has made it to the world. The heroes all look down on the world, and see how beautiful it is. They turn on the silent approach system, so no one can detect them in the air. The Gummi Ship also turns invisible as it flies down to Los Angeles. Donald turns on the radio transmission to see if they can find anything unusual in the city. They all listen to people talking on the transmissions.

Radio announcer: It's 9 a.m. Temperature is 72 degrees...

Announcer 2: We had a backup on the 10 Westbound at Hoover due to police activity on the off-ramp. Apparently there was a drive-by shooting...

Female announcer: Eyelid surgery, body sculpting, citric acid peels, whatever it takes to create a whole new you...

Then, the heroes hear another announcer speaking Spanish on the radio. And the second announcer speaks for him.

Announcer 2: Can Plankton cure cancer? The answer may surprise you. According to a study published by the institute for Holistic research...

Female announcer: A boy of 15 is sentenced to 10 years for armed robbery. The judge sends him to an adult prison...

After hearing that, Goofy gets a memory from his past, hearing that his son, Max, got in trouble, and the principal said he'll end up in prison. He lowers his head, and covers his face. Donald looks at him, and pats his shoulder.

Female announcer: In other news, a South-Central crowd of 6,000 greeted recording artist Chilly B on his release from county jail this morning...

Announcer 2: So test-drive a new or previously owned Mercedes at your local dealer...

Female announcer: You'll get a chance to get this rhinestone bracelet if you're dialing now for $35, item number 633802.

Announcer 3: The devil knows the weakness of this city. He knows he can prey on our enemies. He knows he can stoke unrighteous thoughts in our heads, and he knows he can turn those thoughts into unrighteous deeds...

Announcer 2: Citizens living near Olvera Street are unhappy this morning over a proposed plan to turn the site of one the city's oldest churches into a mini-mall...

Female announcer: Is this the right time for you to be investing? Is love waiting just around the corner? Dial 976-star. A certified psychic astrologist is standing by to guide you through the mysteries of the cosmos...

Announcer 1: More trouble for the beleaguered Metro rail this morning, as angry Beverly Hills residents gathered to protest the newest extension of the Red Line subway into their neighborhood. The demonstration called outside the Beverly Center shopping mall...

Riku turns on a monitor to see if the news is showing what is going on. They see a live footage of the protest. They see a lot of people holding up signs and shouting.

Man on monitor: The people...the people I see here today never voted for this subway. And...and they certainly never voted to see it stop in the heart of this neighborhood.

Woman on monitor: Hey, councilman! Councilman! Hey, councilman! The people of your district want us to clear their houses and to watch their kids. If we have no cars, how are we getting to work?

The camera shows a business man wearing a suit. His name is shown on the monitor. His name is Norman Calder.

Norman on monitor: Well ,these buses run every ten minutes.

Woman on monitor: How would you know?

Norman on monitor: How would I know? I know this: Every time this line gets extended, there's blasting. It's dangerous, it's expensive, it's noisy!

Man 2 on monitor: Nuke the whole city! Nuke the whole city!

Riku sighs, and turns off the monitor. Everyone looks at each other.

Goofy: Doesn't look like nothing's wrong yet.

Sora: But still, we'd better get down there, and check it out. There's no telling what Maleficent sent down there. If it's another monster, we've got to stop it.

Kairi: Sora's right. Let's get down there.

Donald nods, and he flies the ship down to the mountains to land it. They silently fly over the city while flying invisible. It lands on the mountains, on the hill behind the Hollywood sign. Meanwhile, Mr. Volcano is currently underground. He's walking through a hidden underground tunnel that's not manmade. And all around him is burning hot with sparks and flames. He looks ahead, and sees lava. He smirks evilly at this, knowing he has to do. He channels and gathers fire in his hands, and thrusts his flames into the magma. The magma burns harder. He laughs evilly as he continues burning it more.

Here's the first chapter of Kingdom Hearts: Volcano. Sora and his friends have arrived in the new world, and they're back in Los Angeles once again. Mr. Volcano is already getting things cooking underneath the city. Let me know what you all think of the chapter. Vote, review, and comment. Thank you.
