Hey, I officially have a written plan on where the first act of this story is going. Which basically means I'm not just going to make shit up on the spot that might go along with what I want to happen.😂 Anywho, my Christmas Break has finally started which is great. So I have no excuse to have late chapters.

Unknown POV

I could hear Father talking loudly in the living room with the hunters committee, telling them about the formula I'm working on.

See, with any luck, this serum will allow me to smell like one of them. It will make me undetectable to the mutt, so when I find her, she'll trust me. I've gotten word from the old man that his own little project has found a mate, and that their name is Maya. If it is the mutt, then getting her back will only be a small skip away.

I finally finished the newest version of the serum, and I needed to test it out. So, I ran down the staircase leading into the basement and walked towards one of the cells that held a werewolf, spraying it on me, I opened the door and spoke, putting on a nervous voice,

"Quick, we need to leave. I, I got the keys and broke out of my cell, we need to go before they come and take us away again." I said quickly, widening my eyes in fake fear,

"W- why should I t-t trust you?" The boy spoke, clearly hopeful,

"Because your a werewolf too, aren't you? I'm not part of your pack, mine were destroyed by the hunters." I lied, trying to sound convincing. The boy took in a deep breath before smiling grimly and getting up.

It worked. The second part of the plan would work now.

I led the boy outside, pretending to sneak around, before turning to him and snapping his neck. The boy had no useful information anyways, he was a waste of cell space.

Maya's POV

I had been sitting with the other werewolves for who knows how long, paying little to no attention to what they were saying, sketching aimlessly, when I heard my name being shouted.

"What is it?" I asked looking up, mildly annoyed,

"You haven't been paying attention have you?" Xander asked, an intrigued look on his face, his words caused me to smile sheepishly, confirming his thoughts.

"What Mara was saying was, would you like to come and see our pack after our lessons are over?" He asked, rubbing his neck nervously,

"Wouldn't it be your pack Alpha Boy? And yea, that sounds cool." I said, trying to not sound too excited,

"Alpha Boy? Now that's going to stick." Brody snickered as we fist bumped. Xander sent him a death glare causing Brody to stop abruptly and me to giggle.

Brody didn't seem too bad now that I had observed him, and according to Mara, he thought I was a dangerous intruder, so I could see why he was so conserned

I had finished my politics class and had finished my day. Perks of being in 6th form- there's no obligation to stay as long as you turn up for your class.

I left the school, and realized that I didn't know where to go to meet up with the 'wolf gang', so I began to focus on my hearing, seeing if I could hear them. Luckily, I could hear Mara scolding Brody somewhere inside. I followed the voice and surely enough, there before me was Xander, Mara, Brody and Daniel.

"Maya! Over here." Mara called, gesturing towards the boys.

"Hey guys, so where are the rest of you?" I asked,
