"Are you nervous?" I asked poking at Chase's side as we got ready in his apartment. We were having dinner with my parents tonight so that they could officially meet Chase.

"Yes, I'm always nervous when I have to dress up," he grinned.

My mom had found a fancy restaurant to go to. She stated that we needed a real nice dinner as we most likely hadn't had one since we had been here. Which was mostly true since our meals consisted of pizza and fast food. Plus without telling Chase they also had wanted to celebrate my birthday in the best way possible. Though they said that I should at least tell him but I didn't want him to think that he needed to get me anything or worry about it. I also thought that even if I had it would have been weird that I hadn't told him till now. I laughed as he buttoned up his shirt in the mirror making sure his hair was all in place. He was wearing a light blue button down with some nicely pressed khaki dress pants. "I'd almost think you were a kook," I joked.

"Ha ha," he said sarcastically.

I went into the bedroom and grabbed the outfit I was going to wear. It was a long mustard colored maxi dress with white polka dots. It was sleeveless and tied around my neck. I got dressed quickly and strapped on my black heels. I looked in the standing mirror looking myself over to make sure everything looked nice. I had my hair in a low bun with a few strands here and there to frame my face.

"You look like a dream," Chase said standing in the doorway of the bathroom looking me over.

"And you look very dashing," I said, "Are you ready to go?"

He nodded crossing the room to give me a quick peck on the lips before we headed out the door.

"Well look at my favorite couple," Rudy said from the living room, "So grown up. I might cry."

I rolled my eyes, "Will you cover for Chase?"

"Sure, I don't think we have much planned tonight either way," he answered.

"Thanks man, we'll be back later," Chase said as he led me to the door.

"Thanks Rudy," I called before we left. I slipped on my sunglasses as we got outside and hopped into Chase's truck to go pick up my parents. They were waiting at the entrance of the hotel when we pulled up and they hopped in the back.

"Well you both clean up very well," Mom complimented as we left.

"We don't get the chance to dress up often with filming all the time. Most of the time it's swimsuits and tank tops," I answered.

"But that sounds much more fun," Dad noted. They gave us the address to the restaurant and we were on our way. It was weird being able to hold hands with Chase in front of other people that we knew besides Rudy of course. I wonder what it would be like once we finally told everyone. It actually sounded really nice not having to hide our relationship. We'd most likely tell them before the end of the summer or I would think we would but that was something to discuss at a later time. Once we arrived my mom checked us in at the hostess stand as we waited to get seated.

"This is pretty fancy," Chase said as I gripped his arm.

"Yeah, I don't think I've ever been to a place this fancy before," I laughed.

"You'll have to help me with which silverware I use during each course," he joked and I laughed.

We followed the hostess to our table once they were ready for us and were seated.

"So now that were in on your guys' little secret we can actually get to know you," my mom told Chase and I rolled my eyes.

"You already pestered him with questions yesterday. What else could you want to know?" I laughed.
