"Alright, we're gonna go ahead and break for lunch. Please be back in an hour from now," the director announced.

Everyone nodded before splitting up into their own groups. I usually went for lunch by myself or sometimes with Aliyah. Everyone else had their own clicks that they stuck with. All the main cast usually did stuff together and then the rest had their own groups. No one had offered me to join them so that's why I kept to myself. It was cut throat in the New York Theatre, at least in this sector, all anyone wanted to do was to use each other to get to the top. Though from what I had seen so far, no one knew who I was which made sense, as I wasn't anyone big. Not to be boastful, but I assumed being in a Netflix show might assist with making your way to the top. But I didn't want those kinds of "friends." It was for the best too.

I had went across the street to the small restaurant and had ordered lunch. I sat at my laptop corresponding with my agent and going through some other stuff when it rang for a FaceTime. I cleaned up my face of any crumbs and put in my headphones.

"Took you long enough," Maddie laughed once I answered.

"Yeah, I thought you were gonna leave me with her," Rudy added.

"Sorry, I forgot it was our day to FaceTime," I laughed.

"She's already forgotten us, wow, makes it big in New York and we're all just peasants," Maddie rolled her eyes.

"I'm definitely not making it big," I shook my head, "What's up with you guys?"

"Nothing much. I just got out to LA where I'll probably just stay as I've got some photo shoots lined up," Maddie responded, "Rudy, as soon as you're back we're meeting up whether you like it or not."

"We will! I'll be back in the next week or two," Rudy answered.

"I'm so jealous. I wanna be with my besties," I responded.

"Bet, come out here and we can all hang," Maddie whined.

"Yeah, but I gotta do this show through January," I sighed.

"Sounds lame," Rudy laughed and I nodded.

"So...how's your girlfriend?" I asked him.

"I don't have a girlfriend," he shot back.

"That's what he says every time," Maddie answered.

"There's definitely someone in his life," I noted.

"Oh, for sure. Have you seen how he acts different?" She asked.

"Can you guys stop talking like I'm not here?" He responded, "Talk about someone else's love life. For example, Ro."

"Have you heard from Chase?" Maddie asked going with it.

"Yeah, we talked a few days ago," I nodded.

"And have you figured out a time that you're gonna visit each other?" She continued.

"No, we haven't..." I started.

"Ro, that is not good for you two," she sighed, "You guys have to meet up sometime soon."

"You don't think I don't want that?" I responded.

"I can see that both of you are not doing well. You both want what's best for the other but you're not thinking about your relationship as a whole," Rudy added.

"I want nothing more than for us to see each other. But he's doing great, he got a role in a movie! I can't hold him back from that. He's got that going for him and I'm in rehearsal every day now," I sighed, "It'll work itself out."
