Chapter 10

Chuuya's POV

"So? Why are we in the park right now?" I asked looking around. Dazai, Atsushi, Akutagawa, and I were at a nearby park. 

"Cause why not~" Dazai sang as he skipped around the park. 

"Dazai we have work. I'm not skipping work like you always do." I growled. 

"You're so mean Chibi~ I don't always skip." Dazai pouted. 

"Then what are we doing right now?" I sighed. 

"Okay true that." Dazai grinned. I rolled my eyes and put my hands in my pockets just following Dazai to where ever he's going. 

"Ughhhh I really can't stand you..." I mumbled. 

"I also hate everything about you," Dazai replied with a sigh. 

"Are they always like this?" Jinko whispered to Aku.

"As far as I know yes. From what I've heard the first time Chuuya-san met Dazai-san, he broke Dazai-san's arm." Aku replied. 

"You cut off my leg too so you can't say much." Jinko huffed. 

"Well, once on that ship you nearly killed me," Akutagawa replied. 

"That's because you were about to kill Kyoka-chan,"  Jinko growled. 

"You guys really do suit the name Shin Soukoku, New Double Black. You don't need to take the bickering after us as well." Dazai chuckled. 

"He started it," Aku grumbled. 

"Oh so now you're pinning the blame on me?!" Jinko exclaimed. 

"Silencieux! Nouveau Double Noir! (Silence! New Double Black/ Shin Soukoku!)" I growled in sudden french. Both Aku and Jinko froze in place and stopped arguing. 

"Wow~ As expected of their senpai." Dazai teased. I glared at him menacingly. He widened his eyes and quickly put up his hands in defense. 
"Where did you even learn french?" 

"I'm already pissed, don't anger me further," I grumbled. 

"Noted." 

"Good. I'm going to work, Aku you coming, or are you staying with the Detectives?" I asked. 

"I'll go," he replied. I nodded and reached out a hand to him, he took it and I made us float using my ability. 

"Later Detectives, Hope we won't see you again today!" I growled and flew off. 

"Cruel Chuuya!" I heard Dazai exclaim but I didn't care and we landed inside the building from an open window. I released my ability when we landed. 

"I'll be going now," I said as I started to walk off. 

"Chuuya-san one question," Aku said. 

"Hm?" I questioned. 
"Go on."

"............"

"What is it Aku, if it's nothing important I need to go finish my paperwork." 

"W-Well..." Aku started. I just patiently waited but he shook his head. 

"N-nevermind- I'll be off now." He quickly walked away and left me confused. I watched him go before heading towards my own office to finish some paperwork. 

Later that Day

I was at home on my computer doing some work when I heard a knock at the door. I groaned and went to open the door. I fastened the door chain lock before opening it, peering outside. It was Dazai and he was drenched to the core. 

"The hell do you want," I growled. 

"Can I please come inside Chuuya? My house is too far from here and it's pouring~!" Dazai whimpered. I sighed before shutting the door, unlocking the door chain lock, and opening it again. 

"Come in but stay at the entrance while I get some towels. Clear?" I growled.

"Crystal." He replied shivering a little as he trudged inside. I rushed off to grab some towels and run a bath for him. I came back with the towels and gave them to Dazai. 

"I'm running a bath right now. Shoes and socks off, wipe your feet and come in. The bathroom is down the hall to your right. I'll take your jacket for hang drying," I said. He nods and takes off his drenched coat and gives it to me before doing what I instructed and heads towards the bathroom. I sigh and go to hang his coat to dry. 

A few minutes later 

I was making dinner for both of us when Dazai suddenly hugged me from behind, his arms wrapped around my abdomen. I yelped at instinctively used my ability to try and fling him away. But he used his ability to nullify mine. Blue aura overpowering Red in seconds. 

"Sorry if I scared you Chuu-Chuu, it's just that you smell good, this whole house smells like you," Dazai mumbled. I flushed crimson. 

"W-What are you saying?! Stop saying such e-embarrassing things! Shitty Dazai." I exclaimed as I just continued making dinner. He chuckled at my short outburst and nuzzled into my neck. I shuddered slightly at the feeling. 

"Dazai g-get off...! The food is a g-gonna burn!" I yelled as I tried to continue. 

"Continue like this mon ange~ (my angel)" He whispered. 

"H-huh-" I stuttered. 

"Si mignon mon amour (so cute my love)" Dazai laughs. I blushed bright red but just continued quietly cooking with Dazai latched onto me like some koala. He made it harder to move but I just continued. 

10 mins later

I finished cooking, and Dazai seemed to get heavier every second he was on my back. 

"Dazai, Oi Dazai! Get off the foods done!" I exclaimed as I look back. The big baby was asleep. Standing up. I stared at his sleeping face in disbelief and sighed. He probably won't use his ability while asleep right? I used my ability to pick him up and float him over to the couch where I lay him down comfortably. He murmured something before rolling over to his side and curled up. I lay a blanket over him, covering his portion of food with plastic, and placed it on the coffee table in front of him along with the cutlery needed. 

"My goodness... He is still a brat." I mumbled to myself. I went to my own room to sleep.
