Chapter 15

Chuuya's POV

I was reading on the couch of the living room when Dazai suddenly plops down beside me. He made the couch dip and I nearly lost my balance. 

"Oi- careful fatass," I growl, I quickly regain balance and continue reading my book.

"Chuuyaaa your words hurt meee." Dazai whines. 

"Cool," I reply without taking my eyes off of the book. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Dazai pout. 

"Why is Chibi so mean todayyy" Dazai mumbles. 

"I'm like this everyday bastard. Now be quiet and let me read. I want to get up to chapter 14 today." I say. 

"And what chapter are you?" 

"Near the end of Chapter 11." 

"Ehhh?! That's too long Chuuya!" Dazai whines. 

"Didn't ask, don't care." I shrug and continue reading. 

"Chibiiiiii"  

I roll my eyes, not really caring at this point. There were a few minutes of silence until a heavy weight rested on one of my shoulders. I looked over and all I saw was Dazai's brown hair. 

"What do you think you're doing," I sigh. 

"Resting" He mumbles. I hum in reply. I nuzzle into his chestnut brown locks before going back to read. 

"Chibi?" 

"Hm?" 

"If you hate me why did you become mates with me." 

"If I hated you why would I let you mark me," I reply. 

"Stop playing smart with me Chuuya, you're not the type," Dazai grumbles. 

"Just 'cause you're the smarter one doesn't mean I cant make smart statements Dazai. I can also be smart," I shrugged. 

"So mean," Dazai pouts.

"Mhm...." I mumbled back focused on the book. Dazai puffs out his cheeks. 

"Chuuyaaaa!" Dazai whines. 

"What now." I sigh. 

"I want my cuddles." 

"And I told you I want to read, go away," I grumble.  

"Fine! Be that way meanie Chuuya!" Dazai huffs. He gets up from the couch and walks off. I sigh. Once he's all pouty not much can comfort him. Guess I'll just leave him alone for now. I continue reading but the silence was unsettling. I sigh and put the book down after I slide in my bookmark. I head over to my room where I knew Dazai was. Even though I said it was untidy. I open the door to my room and yep there he was. 

"Dazai," I called out to him. 

"Go away meanie Chibi." He replies with a small pout. 

"No cuddles then." I turn around to leave. 

"Wait!" Dazai yells. I roll my eyes in amusement and turn around to face him. He has his arms open begging for a hug and puppy eyes to top it off. I walk over to him and hugs him. He pulls me down onto the bed and nuzzles into my chest. I sigh and stroke his hair. 

"You're so childish Dazai, you need to grow out of it," I mumble softly. 

"Shut up stupid Chibi," Dazai grumbles. I chuckle. Soon soft snores ringed in the air. Dazai fell asleep. I press a kiss into his hair before also falling asleep. 

Next Morning

I woke up from the sun shining on my face. Guess I forgot to close the curtains. I sat up and stretched. Dazai was still sleeping beside me so I quietly got out of bed trying not to wake him, to go make Breakfast. 

"Chuuya?" 

Mission failed, better luck next time. 

"Yes, Dazai?" I reply. 

"Where are you going...?" Dazai yawns while sitting up. 

"To make breakfast, you can go back to sleep if you want." 

Dazai thinks for a bit then shakes his head. 

"I'm helping you." He says standing up. 

"Huh-"

"I've been staying here, I should help with the house chores. It's only fair." Dazai smiles. 

"You say as you leave me to do all the paperwork whenever we pair up even if it's always me who fights while you sit there doing nothing? It's fine Dazai I can do it myself." I sigh. 

"Rude! I come up with the plans when your little head cant." Dazai grumbles. 

"I'm still the one doing most of the work." 

"Which is why I want to start to help." Dazai huffs. I roll my eyes. 

"Fine..." 

"Yay!" Dazai grins. He stands up and walks over to me placing a kiss on my head.

"Wha-" 

"Who said I was asleep that time silly slug," Dazai smirks. 

"You- You were awake?!" I exclaim. 

"Obviously, you're so easy to trick Chuuya~ Now cmon I'm hungryy" Dazai chuckles and walks out of the room. 

"Asshole!" I yell.
