"1, 2, 3" Punch

"1, 2, 3" Kick

"Punch"

"Kick"

"Punch harder"

"Kick harder"

The 15 year old boy started panting as he paused for a minute.

"Don't stop" Shawn yelled at him.

"Do you think your opponent would be patient with you and will give you time to even breathe" He continued.

"Punch harder!"

The boy punched the boxing bag lazily.

"I said harder!!!" He yelled with more force now causing the boy to punch with his full force in fear.

"Punch"

"Kick"

"Punch"

"Kick"

"Punch"

The boy was ready to kick when he yelled.

"Stop!"

It was three weeks since Shawn started to train this new boy named Ryan. He was polite with his students especially the boys of his age from shelter home but when it came to training, he was a strict instructor.

"You know I was 13 when I wore these boxing pads, I was 19 when I started training other young boys and now look at me, I'm 22 year old young man with strong defence and ability to diminish my enemy in seconds but I won't do that..you know why?" He asked the boy sternly looking at his face. The boy just shook his head.

"Because boxing isn't just physical..It's a mental game, you got to keep this open" He said putting a finger on boy's head. "If I'll kill my enemy, wouldn't he get a permanent relief?"

The boy noded in agreement.

"So I would punch him, hit him, kick him harder but keeping in mind that he won't die and would leave him crumbling in pain" He told him. "You got it"

"Yes" The boy replied feeling new wave of passion in him.

"Wow! Did I ever tell you that I wish I was 13 year old student of you, getting these lessons and then knocking the air out my enemy's lungs"

Shawn turned at the familiar voice to look at the man standing behind him leaning on the wall. His purple dyed hair were messy due to Helmet he was wearing a few minutes ago.

Zayn the man Shawn knew since the day he started biking. In beginning, it was just a fellow biker thing but in last 3 years, it was turned into best friendship. Shawn wasn't a guy to make friends that easily. It was because of his short-temper and cold behavior towards everyone that everyone thought he was rude. His personality was really intimidating but Zayn was the guy who could tolerate his shit and make jokes out of it which he had to tolerate in return. That's why he was able to be friends with him.

"Enough lesson for today, you can go now" Shawn instructed the 15 year old boy standing in front of him waiting for his next command.

"Come straight to the point and tell me the purpose of your interruption, I don't have extra time" Shawn declared unwrapping the boxing bandages from his hand as the boy left.

"Ufff! Mendes and his Rules" Zayn replied chewing his gum.

"I think I said I don't have extra time" He replied giving him a quick glare.

"Fine! there's this bike race and they bet 1000 dollars on it...they wanted me to do that but I can't..." He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Why?" Shawn asked curiously.

"Coz the opponent is too strong for me so I gave your name." Zayn spilled.

"What? My name..who told you that I'm going to do it" He huffed.

"I knew coz you are always ready to take your revenge." Zayn shrugged with confidence in his eyes. Shawn gave him a knowing look.

"Who's it?" He asked with straight face full of rage.

"Mathew....Mathew Rob" Zayn pronounced his full name. The same name which cheated him in the last race and due to whom Shawn spent 1 month on bed coz of broken leg last year. He was ready to return the favour.
