This is how I wish order 66 had happened for Kanan Jarrus. I know there is a comic but I wrote this a while ago and only after I finished did I actually learn of the Comic. Disclaimer: The Characters, Planets, and Event itself do not belong to me, they belong to Dave Filoni and George Lucas

CT-44/44, a loyal clone trooper assigned to the squadron command of Commander Grey. Lead by Jedi Master Depa Billaba and her padawan companion Caleb Dume, they are on a mission to Liberate the planet Kaller from General Kleeve and his separatist goons. Everything goes according to plan, until it doesn't...

"The nearer the dawn the darker the night"- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Caleb Dume is preparing for the trials that will make him a Jedi Knight when he meets Hera Syndulla, one of the youngest-ever cadets to the Republic's peacekeeping Starfighter Corps. (No, this is NOT another "what if Order 66 never happened?" fic. It's actually more of a "What if Queen Amidala never called for a vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Valorum?" fic. While we can be certain that Palpatine would have continued with his- as I like to call it- sheevery, failing to manipulate the young Queen would have been a blow and a major setback to his nefarious machinations. But their escape pods end up in a different location than the others... and it looks like Kendall will have to lead the way in surviving the technologically primitive planet known as Earth. Follow each of these characters and OCs from the Star Wars Universe as they go through their journey and work to find a way back to the galaxy where they belong... During a mission on Hays Minor that goes absolutely haywire, a very injured Obi-Wan Kenobi and the 212th's Marshall Commander Cody are trapped in a cave that has been completely and thoroughly blocked as a result of an avalanche. With no communication, limited supplies, and no clear exit point while one is heavily injured, it can be said that it has already proved to be difficult. With any signs of hope being diminished, will both Cody and Obi-Wan be able to keep some flick of faith through this hard time? Will the two men learn more about each other than they ever thought possible? While already on a shitty mission, Hera finds a way to make the Emperor's day go from bad to worse.

Caleb Dume might not have had much training, but he did train with some of the best Jedi there were during the Clone Wars. He'll never forget training with his Childhood idols. Even if some of them weren't authorized training sessions. Being the Padawan of a master on the Jedi council had it's benefits. Kanan will always be thankful for that.

"Would you keep your promise?" he whispered, making her give him a puzzled look before it came back to her. It was a promise they'd made to each other before they had started dating; at the time, they were fourteen years old. Biting her lip, she leaned down, grabbed his face and kissed him. Her hands were soft on his face and her warm lips were gentle and hesitant, but he relished it for as long as he could as it was the kind of kiss he had been yearning for years, and though he had to wait till his last breath, he didn't care because it was worth the wait to him. She slowly pulled away and looked at him, resting her forehead against his. A small, weak smile creeping its way onto his lips, he whispered softly, "I love you..." She blinked and swallowed hard as a tear escaped her hazel eyes. "Zack..." Ashlyn choked out. "Zack?" she repeated, desperate to get an answer, either it'd be a grunt, a groan... anything would suffice as long as the sound came from her best friend, her love.
