Ysabelle Jane Castillo, despite having speech anxiety and panic disorder, finished a degree in education. She was bound to a promise with her best friend. That they'll both teach at the same school someday. So she leaves her home, Batangas, to be an English teacher at a school in Dasmarinas Cavite where her best friend teaches. Ysabelle didn't expect anything special about this school. Not until she saw the junior high school department head, Noah Spencer Vasquez. A man with gorgeous masculine face, who strolled on every room like he owns it. Ysabelle, like any other, wasn't immune to his charms. But she won't do anything about it. Aside from she can't even start a conversation without stuttering, she already has enough people rejecting and humiliating her. But trying to not develop feelings for him becomes a challenge when he happens to also be the landlord of the apartment she's renting...and he just lives next door!
