Chapter 9

After dinner we walked back to Matt's car. I grabbed my leather jacket and put it on, before getting in the car. Matt didn't. He stood outside. I got out to join him.

"Hey, I thought we were going back home?" I was confused a little.

"Let's take a walk on the beach." He gave me a wide smile and grabbed my hand.

I took off my shoes and put them in the car. The sea breeze was making my white dress go everywhere,causing Matt to try and keep my dress down so other guys wouldn't stare.

We ran over to the beach. The smooth sand felt nice underneath my feet. It my first time visiting the beach with Matt and I couldn't have been happier.

"So where do you want to go for our next date Z?" He asked me,pulling me closer to him.

"Oh so we are dating now? I was never told, Espinosa." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"You're my main homie, my girlfriend." He kissed my cheek, which was causing me to laugh because of his scruff tickling me.

We walked over towards the water and let it wash against our feet. It was quite nice. It was only 9. I hadn't realized that 2 hours had passed since dinner. I was hungry as hell because that couple wouldn't let us eat in peace.

"I love you, a lot." I faced him, wrapping my arms behind his neck.

"I love you too Z." His eyes kept darting down to my eyes and then to my lips.

His hand held my face as he pulled it towards his. Our lips united and Matt's arms hugged my back. My hands shifted to his chest and laid against them. His lips felt so nice on mine, I never wanted to remove them.

I pulled away, pecking his lips once more. I then rested my head in the crook of his beck and he played with my hair as we admired the ocean that was lit by the moonlight.

I splashed water onto his face, in which some got in his mouth and he fell into a coughing fit. I rubbed his back feeling bad and couldn't stop laughing, well until he splashed me back.

"Okay we can't splash me." I strictly told him.

"Why is that?" He asked.

"Because you just can't." I protested.

"And what if I do?" He was testing me.

"Matthew I'm on my period, don't test me." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Oh shit, I um babe you need anything?" He was all tense and stammering his words.

"Can we go home and watch some TV?" I asked him and he walked us back to the car.

"We can get some pizza too because I am starving." He rubbed his tummy. I was glad that we were on the same page.

I glanced over at the clock after finishing my episode of Eyecandy on MTV. I switched off the TV getting worried, seeing it was 11 and Matt wasn't home yet. He said he was picking up some pizza for us. I insisted on going with him, but he wanted me to stay since it was that time of the month, and I had cramps.

I called him once more, getting worried by the minute. Okay, Zoe, calm down. He's okay. He could be driving right now. He could be getting our pizza.

11:30 pm.

I was getting really freaked out now. I picked up my phone, my hands almost shaking. I dialed Jack's number.

"Hey- um Jack did Matt call you or anything?" My voice stammered on the line.
