"Wake up Zoeeee." Matt's voice chimed in and he began shaking me.

I lifted myself enough to look at the clock. 7:45 am. He better have a good reason for waking me up this early while we were on vacation. I groaned, already knowing I wouldn't be able to fall asleep again.

"Why did you wake me up this early?" I got up to go freshen up.

Matt followed me as I made my way to the bathroom. I splashed some cold water on my face reluctantly, which was clearly a mistake since I didn't help one bit in getting me awake. I proceeded on to brushing my teeth and then tying back my hair.

"Let me sleep for like 15 more minutes please." I yawned and felt my eyes getting heavy.

"No!" Matt blocked me from the bed.

"Who even wakes up this early?" I groaned.

"I planned out today and so we gotta make sure we get there in time." Matt explained but I still was thinking of sleeping.

"I can't stay awake." I sat down on the floor and shut my eyes.

Matt's lips collided with mine. Well that woke me up for sure. My eyes shot open as he pulled away with a grin on his face. I pretended to dose off again, and he repeated his previous actions. His lips smiled against mine, causing me to giggle as we broke away from the kiss.

"I think I'm a little more awake." I winked at him, before he pulled us up and we made our way to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

I thought I was making breakfast but Matt had taken care of it for me. This made me so happy that he made breakfast even though he couldn't really cook.

"I present to you some pancakes and fruit." Matt was proud of his work and I had doubts that he had even made the pancakes.

I took a seat with him across from me. Matt watched excitedly as I cut into the pancake and was about to put it in my mouth. The bell rang and I got up to see who it was.

A man stood there with Matt's bucket hat. Matt saw and rushed to the door. The man said something along the lines of how Matt left his bucket hat at his breakfast bar.

I wasn't mad at all that Matt didn't make the breakfast. I thought it was cute that he went so far to impress me somewhat. Now the funny part was confronting him about this. What kind of explanation was I receiving?

"I um, he isn't, I made those!" He yelled to prove his point.

"Its okay if you didn't. You got up so early to go get us breakfast, that's cute." My arms secured behind his neck and I got on my tip-toes to hug him.

He wrapped his arms around me and we swayed back and forth. Matt always gave the best hugs. You know I missed it when the farthest we went was make outs. Of course sex with Matt was amazing, but I missed that innocence between us.

"I've been practicing my dinosaur impression." He mumbled into my shoulder, causing me to giggle.

"Alright, go ahead." I pulled away.

Matt changed his posture from standing straight to his butt sticking out and his arms pushed back. He made these weird shrieking noises, causing me to explode into laughter. His impression was spot on.

Matt looked at me and started coming closer while staying in his 'dino mode'. It was so weird. I moved back and within seconds he was chasing me around the place. I grabbed pillows from the couch to use as a shield, and within moments I threw it at him.

"Hey!" He pouted before going back into his 'dino mode'.

He did his little screech and tackled me onto the couch. His hands found their way to my sides and began tickling me. Uncontrollable laughter left my mouth, with me attempting to say stop. After 3 long minutes of tickling me, he gave in and let me free.
