Matt's POV:
I woke from my sleep, with sweat running down my forehead. What the hell was that? Did Zoe know? I was clueless. All I knew was that I was back home, thats it. Had Zoe dropped me home or I had I driven myself?
My shaky hands reached for the phone and I punched in Zoe's number.
Z: " Whats up? Its five am."
So she didn't know. It was all just a dream. Thank you God.
M: "I had a bad dream."
Z: "You wanna talk about it?"
M:"Uh not really, but all it really was that you ended up hating me."
Z: "I'm sorry Matt, nothing you could do could possibly make me hate you."
M: "Good, because at the end of the day you're still my best friend."
What I really wanted to say was that I love you, but then my secret would be out. I had to pretend to where they would believe I got my memory back. God what was I doing? I'm cheating everyone but Sammy and the Jacks.
Z: "Hello? Matt?"
M: "Yeah, sorry. I'm here."
Z: "I'm going back to sleep. Goodnight."
M: "Goodnight Zoe. "
I love you Zoe, so much.

Zoe's POV:
I sat at my desk, playing with my pencil while trying to answer the question on my exam. My mind was else where. I was excited that Matt was regaining his memory quickly. Speaking of Matt, he was sat across the room from me answering questions quickly. He had studied with me but for some reason my mind was going blank.
My eyes traveled over to Matt. His eyes broke away from his exam and looked over to me. I made a face signaling that I was having trouble on all of this. He winked back at me and shook his head as he focused back on his paper.
I recollected my thoughts and randomly answer questions, trying my absolute best. As I finished my test, I brought it to the front of the room 5 minutes after Matt did. After that I left and Matt was waiting for me outside.
"I failed that, ugh." I groaned, throwing my hands over my face then looking back at Matt.
"I think I did good and I'm sure you did good, if not better than I did." Matt put his arm around my shoulder.
"I hope." I sighed as we sat down on the park bench.
"I'm happy your remembering almost everything now." I couldn't contain my smile.
"Me too, I just don't feel vulnerable anymore." He told me.
There was a brief moment of silence. Not an awkward type. Just something needed. We both over looked the university with my head resting on his shoulder.
"Let's go home yeah? We got that party at Sammy's place tonight." Matt suggested and we got up.
We got in my car and I drove Matt home first. Once I parked on the side of the street and walked with him to the door, he began bugging me about he was better at basketball than me.
"I challenge you to a game a basketball. First one to 6 points wins. Each shot is one point no matter the distance. You in?" Matt shot back at me with a grin spread across his face.
