Matt and I decided to go for a jog this morning. Unbelievable right? I never thought I would go for a jog. I honestly had no problem with exercising but I hate jogging or running. Matt had convinced me somehow.

"Zoe? You ready!" Matt called from downstairs.

Matt had penny boarded to my house and got here 10 minutes ago. He was getting irritated by the minute. Matt had started working out a few weeks ago and was really into it. He obviously didn't want to be like a body builder but wanted some muscle.

I tied my shoes and jogged down the stairs. Matt stood there waiting for me with his arms crossed. He wasn't very happy.

"C'mon lets go." I grabbed his hand and he followed, with still an angry look on his face.

"It's becoming very hard to be mad at you when you're acting so cute." Matt was almost trying to scold me.

"You're acting like that's a bad thing." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"It's not, but then you won't act all nice to get me to not be mad." He pouted.

"I'm always nice!" I protested, throwing my hands on my hips.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's get going." He dismissed my protest and we began jogging.

I put in my headphones and Matt did the same. We didn't talk or any of that while actually jogging but while walking and stuff we did. Matt always was a few steps ahead of me. He liked to be slightly in front of me while jogging.

This time I decided on actually trying to out run him. I took out my headphones and Matt did the same to hear what I had to say.,

" What's up?" He spoke.

"Wanna race to the park sometime?" I offered, not telling him the complete truth.

"Yeah, sure. When?" He nodded and asked.

I started to pick up my pace and once I was a few feet away from him, I finally yelled out, "Now!" I could hear Matt yelling something along the lines of 'That's not fair' or 'That's cheating'. It was hilarious.

The park was getting closer and closer. I turned to see Matt was catching up to me. Oh shit. I increases the speed of my pace. I hadn't ran this fast in ages and I sure as hell wasn't enjoying it. Never in my life would I do this again.

I was so close to the park and Matt was just a few feet away from me. I ran and entered the park. Thank you God. I won, by cheating, but I still won. I slowed down and made attempts to catch my breath. Well that was quite the workout. Matt joined me and was trying to catch his breath too.

Once our breaths had regulated and we were not that sweaty anymore, we sat down on the bench.

"That wasn't even fair." He threw his hands in the air, admitting defeat.

"But I still one and besides you were the star football player. A matter of a fee seconds shouldn't give me a way to out run you." I poked at him.

"So what's your prize?" He sighed, shaking his head at me.

"I never mentioned a prize but since you are talking," I trailed off, getting a smirk from him. "You can give me a piggy back ride home." I finished.

I just ran 2 miles, which was a very huge deal for me, and no way on earth was I going to walk back. Matt approached me after getting a drink of water from the water fountain and motioned for me to get on his back. I got on his back, hoping that my weight wouldn't crush him.

Matt gripped my butt causing me to jump a little, before he explained that he was only making sure that I was secured on his back. As if. Matt secured my legs and I looped arms in front of his neck.
