"Your wrist okay now?" Gilinsky asked with Sammy and Johnson in the back. I returned him a nod and smile.

The boys had taken me to the hospital after Matt had fallen asleep last night. I had broken my wrist. I stayed the night there and woke up with a cast. The boys had signed it already and now it was time to go home and face Matt.

"Matt's mom called me. She wants to see him." I broke the silence in the worst way possible.

"She knows he lost his memory, right?" Johnson asked.

"Yeah everyone back there does." I sighed, not knowing how his parents would react when actually seeing him like that.

"You know, having him revisit the places where he grew up could get his memory back." Sammy added, trying to make us feel better and it was working.

"You think it could actually work?" I turned back at Sammy.

"You know, maybe we could recreate his highschool memories." Gilinsky said, which brought excitement to all of us.

"I wasn't there with you all in highschool, but still we could all fly down there." Sammy stated.

This was a brilliant idea. I could see my mom, Matt could see his family, and we could call the rest of the boys plus Chelsea. I was so happy for this trip back, because now we were all determined to get Matt his memory back.

Jack had parked his car in the lot and the boys followed me to our flat. I was unsure of how Matt would react to three things. My wrist, the Virginia trip, and seeing the boys again. I unlocked the door and found Matt.

"Zoe where were you?!" He exclaimed with relief in his eyes.

"My wrist was hurting and I had to stay the night at the hospital because they were examining it." I looked down and he looked at my wrist.

"I asked you if you were okay?! Why did you lie to me?!" Matt shouted, when I knew he was just concerned.

I just wrapped my arms around him and he did the same back. I had calmed him down slightly. Matt then realized the boys were here and pulled away.

"Jack, Jack, and Sammy right?" Matt pointed at them. They all nodded.

"Zoe always tells me about you three." Matt smiled.

Okay, 2 things are out of the way and things ran smoothly in the end. Now it was time to tell Matt about the Virginia trip. We were leaving tomorrow night, so I had no choice but to rush this.

"Matt, you wanted to see you family right?" Sammy confirmed with him and Matt nodded.

"Well, we have a surprise." Johnson said.

"All four of us are going to Virginia, your home town for a while. We are leaving tomorrow." Gilinsky finished and we all waited for his reaction.

"Can I talk to Zoe for a moment?" Matt looked at me and we went into another room.

"Zoe, do you think I should go?" He scratched the back of his neck.

"Of course, I'm coming with you too. You can see your parents, and siblings." I was hoping to persuade him.

"Good, you're coming. I wouldn't want to leave you, because I like being with you." He covered his mouth after saying it. So Matthew Lee Espinosa was developing a crush on me, what the fuck. Or I'm just thinking that to make myself feel better.

"Well, why don't we get packing?" I changed the topic because I knew he was probably feeling akward about it.

"No, why don't I pack and then come help you because you have to be careful with that wrist of yours." He raised an eyebrow at me and we returned to the boys.

"Okay, so I'll call a cab. He can pick us up first and then you two tomorrow at 6 in the evening since the flight is at 7:45." Jack told us and we hugged the boys goodbye.

I followed Matt to his room, where he got his suit case and asked me to help him choosewhat clothes to bring. I was guessing we didn't need much since we both had some clothes at our own houses.

-

Matt laid his head on my lap as we waited for our flight. He wasn't feeling too good today and I felt bad having to make him go, but it was going to be worth it in the end. I combed through his hair with my fingers as Jack brought Matt and I each a slice of pizza.

Matt got up and grabbed my place from my hands. Was he really that hungry because I mean, I am too.

"Matt, we can get you another slice?" Sammy chuckled after looking at my face.

"What? I was going to feed her so she doesn't get her hands dirty and she can only use one hand." Matt defended himself and then turned to me.

He fed me a slice and then took a bit of his own pizza. Oh God, Matt was being too sweet and I swear I was going to just explode with happiness. He was feeling much better after he finished his slice and finished feeding me.

"Hey, Zoe can I see you for a moment?" Gilinsky called me over to him and Matt looked slightly annoyed.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"Grayson doesn't know that we are going to Virginia and so Matt will be more calm, and everyone will be safe. I think on this trip you have to see if Matt likes you back and make a move. You also got to let him know more about the relationship between you two. As well as that, we need to know what that scar on his chest is. He was drunk, this was before he you know lost his memory, and said it happened in Virginia." Jack explained the main things I had to accomplish on this trip and I nodded, as we returned back to the boys.

-

It was good being back in Virginia. Oh God, I could already feel the memories starting to flow back to me. Junior and Senior year, I'd kill to go back to that time.

I miss the old Matt. I loved his short hair, that he always put in a quiff but left it down when I was around because he knew I liked it better down. I miss Burnie and Matt's family. I miss my high school relationship with Matt.

I wanted that relationship back and I was going to get that back. I was going to make sure he regained his memory. Matt was going to be the same old Matt that he was. Matt was going to be himself again.

"Zoe." Matt waved his hands in front of my Face, snapping me out of my deep thoughts that I was lost in.

We got in the cab. It was just Matt and I. The boys went in a separate cab to Johnson's house. Matt stared out the window, studying his home town as if it were a foreign place. A little smile appeared on his lips, meaning he liked it here.

I studied Matt. Change from high school was also good too. He had very defined features. His jawline was sharp as well as his cheek bones. Don't get me started on his toned back, and his arms that were covered in tattoos. I couldn't forget his soft, pink lips that I longed for.

And what made me miss him the most, was his glossy, brown eyes. Those bright eyes that when your face was inches from his, you could see the scattered color in his eyes. His eyes were the only thing that made him looks so innocent.

I looked out my window recognizing all these places we passed and correlating them with my memories with Matt. Why did everything always go back to Matt? Matt was literally the only thing I thought about.

I just want to shut him up with my lips.

His pinky accidentally touched mine, leaving me with chills. I missed his touch. He moved his hand away, apologizing. It was dark in the cab, and I was glad so he wouldn't see me blush.

Project, Bring Back Matt, was going to be a success no matter what. This was a promise.
