"Good morning Zoe." Matt's voice was a bit raspy.
I was assuming that he had just taken a shower, due to his hair being wet and he was beginning to pull on his shirt. I got out of his bed and stretched out my arms.
"Goodmorning Matt. What time is it?" My eyes scanned the room for the clock.
"7:30 am." He mumbled while trying to fix his hair, even though it looked like he was struggling.
"Well you continue to fix your hair, I'm gonna shower and then make breakfast for everyone." I explained to him and then went to my room.
After getting ready and cooking breakfast for the boys, I sat down and ate a little. Matt joined me shortly.
"You wanted to go house hunting right?" He asked before stuffing his face with some bacon.
"Yeah, I was planning on going today." I put my plate away and sat back down beside Matt.
"Could I come with?" He said and it almost made me feel that if I did this, he would move in with me, which I didn't mind at all.
"Of course. I'll just grab my keys." I got my keys and left a note for Sammy and Jack.
We drove down to some apartments that were near Sammy's. I decided on an apartment because I couldn't afford to pay off a house alone.
We pulled up to this building with a condo like setup rather than apartment. Matt had chose this place and said I would love it. It over looked the beach from afar. God this was going to be expensive.
-
The place was extremely nice. It was definitely out of my price range though. I don't get why he would show me this? It had raised my expectations for future options.
"I can't pay for this alone." I groaned, not wanting my mom to help me out with something that was too expensive.
"Your parents can help you out until you get a job." Matt suggested. He liked this place a lot too.
"Or we could share the place, split the cost. Johnson is coming home soon, so he will need his room back." He was trying hard to convince me.
"Do you really want to?" I was actually really happy that he pitched in the idea.
"I really do. It wasn't my intention when I found the place, but I love it so much now." He spoke but I knew he wanted to move in with me ever since we set foot in this place.
"So we are moving in together?" I questioned, because we weren't exactly calling it that even though it was.
"I guess we are, roomie." Matt hugged me and then suggested that we go make an offer.
-
Matt and I, officially, were the owners of that new place. It was ready to be moved into, but we chose to move in tomorrow morning since it got pretty late.
Jack and Sammy were happy that we found a place but kept questioning if we were together or not. I didn't know what we were for sure but I did know that we were friends with benefits.
My stuff was packed for tomorrow and Matt had nothing to pack but his clothes.
My boxes were ready and I couldn't wait. Next morning was going to be a new chapter in my life.
-
Matt helped me bring in the last of our boxes. The place was furnished with the basic things but not decorated. It had all the utilities and even a TV.
Matt was letting me take the master bedroom since it had a bigger bathroom. Matt took the room across the hall and the room was just as big. I wanted to paint my room a light grey.
