Trailer is attached for new readers !
This is a sequel to my first book, Reckless. You don't really have to read the first one to understand it, but it adds for emotion to this story if you do.

Inhale. Exhale. My steady breathing was the only thing heard. My pale gray walls, set off a sophisticated vibe to this place of mine. I layed in bed for the past 10 minutes, thinking about everything. I did not feel like going to college today, so I simply did not.
Lifting my white sheets off of me, I made my way around the small flat. I found myself pouring a bowl of 'Coco Pops' to eat. My grumbling stomach approved my choice of breakfast. That, and it was the only thing I could make due to the lack of grocery trips.
I sat alone at my table, munching on my cereal silently. I stirred around the last remaining pieces, in the chocolatey milk. I decided not to eat them, carrying my bowl to the sink. I felt like going out somewhere, instead of sitting in this stuffed up place. I went towards the shower, ready to cleanse myself to start the day.
After my 20 minute shower, I pulled on a Bishop Irengton Football crewneck and out on some leggings. After placing on my shoes, I grabbed my keys and headed to my car. California college life was fun, but I was getting tired of it. I had changed as person for sure. I had been living more, partying. Matt made me realize how to be a little reckless.
But this wasn't the type of reckess I wanted. I wanted to travel, explore. I wanted excitement. I drove down to the pier. It was a bit chilly to swim and so I walked around. It was somewhat crowded, which comforted me of staying in my lonely flat. The wind sent my strands off hair, flying back.
I had just about wasted my day at the pier. I was nice though. You know, getting a break from college. I made it back to my car and made the decision of driving to the grocery shops. After reaching there, I recieved a text in a group chat with Sammy and Jack.
Gilinsky: You two should come over.
Sammy: I'm down.
Gilinsky: You better come Zoe!
Me: I've ordered pizza and have plans. Sorry boys.
Sammy: Bring the pizza and come over.
Me: Eh
Gilinsky: Guess you are going to miss hookah.
Me: Will come next time, promise...
Sammy: You better!
I put my phone away and grabbed a shopping trolley. I grabbed some eggs, salad mix, meats, pasta, and other things that would get me through the week.
I walked over to the dairy section. I searched for the soy milk, mainly because I hated regular milk. I found it and reached for it. It was too high up. I tried again on my tippy toes. I still couldn't reach it. This is why I hated being short.
I looked up to see, someone grab the soy milk and hand it to me. I turned to thank the person who helped me out. Was it really him? I couldn't process for a moment. He looked just as shocked as me.
The memories of highschool flew back. I just stood there as if I was paralyzed. "Zoe." His choked out, almost butchering my name. Little tears entered my eyes and my lips curved into a smile.
He threw his arms around me, holding me tight. I hugged him back, with warm tears escaping from my eyes. Matt was here. My best friend, my first love who I had not seen for 8 months.
"I've missed you so much." I managed to say. Here we were, Matt and I, having a break down in the dairy section. It couldn't be any more perfect. I was just happy that I was in his arms.
