Chapter 36

"When do you get out of the hospital?" I asked Matt, not wanting to focus or even talk about Isabel anymore.

"Today just like you." Matt grinned at me and poked at my shoulder.

"I really want to go home and I'm glad you'll be with me." I honestly spoke and he said the words that had ruined me once again.

"Isabel is taking me to her place for a bit, so I'll be back tonight or tomorrow." Matt looked as if he almost felt bad for me while I couldn't believe he was still with Isabel.

"I'm gonna go see if my forms are filled out." I rushed out of the room not even looking back at him once.

My lips pressed to a fine line as my eye brows furrowed together making a sad frown visible on my face.

My shoulder hit another's and I looked up to see who. Isabel stood in front of me and just as I was about to apologize, she gave me the biggest glare. My mouth gaped open in confusion and shock at her foul attitude.

"Watch where you're going." She spoke in a completely different voice. In fact her actual voice was the most whiniest and bitchiest voice I had ever heard.

"I guess I was caught up in what had happened in the hospital room while Matt and I were all alone." I exaggerated what had actually happened and twisted it into something else as her jaw dropped.

"You stay away from him. You're lucky that food poisoning didn't kill you." She smirked at me and walked into Matt's room.

Sammy and the Jacks had heard what she had just said and were as shocked as we were. What kind of sick twisted mind did she have? I hated to admit it, but I was somewhat scared of her. She put me in so much pain and now she had basically threatened to kill me.

I had to get her away from Matt.

"That little-" Gilinsky began, before Sammy cut of the rest of his sentence.

"Zoe, you are not going anywhere near her. I mean it. We will handle this." Sammy immediately made that clear to me.

"We are getting Matt back for us and for you." Johnson was absolutely furious. I had never seen him so angry before.

"I gotta plan. Just follow my lead and play along guys." Gilinsky had a tiny smirk on his face as he headed towards Matt's room.

The three of us followed as Gilinsky came in the room yelling about how happy he was to see Matt. Matt had a huge grin on his face from how happy he was to see his friends. As for Isabel, she frowned at all four of us.

That two faced bitch.

The boys rushed to Matt, thankful that he was okay. Isabel made a face of disgust but right when Matt turned to her, her face immediately changed into a warm smile. It was almost intriguing watching her change within seconds.

I looked into the hall like Jack had signaled me to, and saw the doctor walking towards Matt's room. I gave Gilinsky a nod and they quickly turned their attention towards Isabel.

"Hey Isabel, can you come with us to the cafeteria to get some food? We know that you would know what Matt wants to eat rather than Zoe." Sammy purposely spoke, and a small grin was on Isabel's face as she left with them.

The doctor shortly walked in with Matt and I in the room. He pulled me aside, explaining what I had to do to take care of him at home and to contact him if anything went wrong. Matt was officially discharged and all that was left for him was to change.
