The awkward silence went on for what felt like an eternity.

"Okay, Are you gonna answer me or not? If you're not, just tell and I'll leave." Elena snapped. She clearly wasn't affected by the long span of silence that just passed by. Obviously I wasn't going to answer, hence the whole reason it was so silent you could hear a pin drop. She looked at me with a glare that made my heart race. Then, something just clicked in my brain. What if Sabrina set her up to do this? I didn't think that Elena was that stupid, but maybe I was wrong. I mean, she was pretty close friends with Sabrina. That was definitely a possibility.

In response to my sudden epiphany, I looked at her with an amount of intensity.

"Now, since we are asking each other questions, did this chat that were are having relate to Sabrina in any way?"
I waited patiently for her answer, and trust me, it didn't come very quick.

Across from me, Elena was fidgeting with her hair, looking at the ground and shifting her feet from side to side. She finally looked into my eyes and everything came out.

"Sabrina told me that you kissed Jackson, so I made up this whole story about my family moving because I wanted a reason to talk to you. I know it's low, but I really want to know if my boyfriend isn't being loyal. He just means a lot to me and I don't want to lose him just because of some stupid whore, who thinks she can have every guy to herself." She took a deep breath.
"I didn't mean to shame you like this, but I love him. You can't just come and mess everything up." She said.

Now I was the one staring at the ground and shuffling my feet. I hated how she put me down so easily. It felt as if she didn't think what she said hurt my feelings. To be honest, I wanted to slap Elena in the face right now. She was being mean, but she acted as though it was just because she was loyal.

"Yeah, right. I doubt you did this whole thing just to protect your boyfriend. I'm not a stupid whore either. Do you not know that Sabrina's a liar? Sorry to say this, but I've only been here for like 6 months and I know more about her bad side than you do." I said.

"Wait! Sasha, aren't you gonna answer my question?" She exclaimed.

I didn't even notice I was walking until I reached the bathroom's exit.

"Does it really matter?" I asked her.
"Jackson can do what he wants."
