As I was just starting to get bored in Math class, I got a text.

Patty:
There's gonna be a party tonight at Jackson's house! Are you in?

I replied with a 'yes' and thought about the party for the rest of class.

I called Patty after school to ask her about the details for the party.

To be honest, I was really excited to have some time together with my friends.
I haven't really had much time to just have fun with my new friends. It felt like I've been in my new house for forever, but it hasn't even been a year yet.

I'm assuming that Jackson's party was an early pre-graduation party. When I think about graduation, I get a bit of an excited, anxious feeling. I was happy to buy my dress (I got over the tomboy stage), but at the same time, I was so surprised that school was already in its 3rd last month.

With these thoughts, I walked home from school in deep thought.

(Later that night)
We got the squad back together for another awesome party, which included Patty, Steph, Mary and I.
As usual, we brought our makeup bags over to my house this time. I smiled at my self in the mirror as I reminisced about our first party together. Since then, our group of friends have been pretty tight.

"Girl, you look smokin' hot!" Mary exclaimed loudly as she danced over to borrow my eyeliner.

I glanced down at my black leather leggings, red ballerina crop top and studded platform sneakers.

For jewellery, I was wearing my favourite charm necklace with two red cherries on the end.

"Mary, have you seen yourself?!?" I said with my mock attitude.

All of my friends look flawless tonight. Steph and Mary were both pulling off hot, short dresses, whereas, Patty was looking pretty in a pair of light high waisted jeans and a flowing black blouse that was unbuttoned to expose her white spaghetti top.

45 minutes later, we were in my mom's car and on our way to Jackson's house. To be honest, I didn't even tell mom that this party was at a boy's house, and I asked her not to drop us off right in front of the house. I was scared that she would change her mind if she did.

Also, I had no idea where Patty got Jackson's address, but I'm assuming whoever told her about the party gave it to her. I always trusted Patty with the technical things.

When we walked into the house, there were older teens either sitting on the couch making out with someone else, drinking alcohol in the kitchen or dancing over-sexually in the middle of the living room.
There was a loud, pounding bass and the song sounded like jumbled up English.
At least play some decent rap music! I thought to myself with a chuckle.

"Patty, is Jackson even here?" Stephanie asked- reading our minds.

"Yeah, who invited you to this party?" I asked Patty nervously.

Patty quickly shifted her weight on to her leg, almost representing her nervousness.
"Listen, guys, I didn't know that the party was gonna be like this. It's just that I heard everyone talking about it. I thought that Jackson was hosting the party for a pre-grad celebration. I guess that they were talking about his older brother's party." She explained.

Then, a tall guy with a hat on walked up to our semi-circle.

"How you ladies doing tonight?" He asked in a mock polite voice and reached to touch me. His fingers almost reached my waist, but luckily I dodged it just in time.

We started to walk towards the door until the guy swung his arm out and grabbed onto Mary's arm.

"Hey!! Stop it!! I will call the police!" She yelled, and no one in the room even looked up to see what was happening. They were too busy with their own activities.

"RUN!" I exclaimed and began to sprint to the front door. I didn't stop until I was 2 blocks away from that terrible house.

I looked around me to see if my friends followed me. I started to panic because not a single soul was near me. All I could see was dark houses. The sound of crickets was all that filled my ears.

Not a single person.

A/N:

Hi guys!

I know I didn't give you much of a visual for the "guy" that was bugging the girls at the party, so I'll add a photo with this chapter to give you an idea of what he looks like.
