we were now back from dc, neither owen not i have made a move on each other since the night in the pool, i didn't know what to think to be honest.
owen and cole were currently at my house i couldn't tell you why, they just showed up. madi was already here so i'm sure cole was happy.
"i'll be back in a few minutes" cole says i'm assuming he was going to the kitchen where madi had previously gone a few minutes ago
"he's into her you know" owen says "i don't trust it" "why" "none of you guys date people, i just don't want her getting hurt" "she's fine with cole" "she was the one who told me you were all assholes and to especially stay away from you" "well that's not working out too well huh?" he smirks
"mark should have come over instead" his smirk drops to a more angry face "i'm gonna pretend you didnt say that" "jealous?" "no" "then i'll invite him over" "if you do that i'm leaving" "even more of a reason to have him come" "don't do it" he sounds serious "ok you can stop being angry now i'm not gonna invite him" "good"
i laugh "oh uh... my family is having a christmas party tomorrow and wendy wanted to know if you would come" i had forgotten christmas was in a week "ill go just because wendy asked" "i need you there" "why" "incase things get out of hand" "nothing is going to happen" "holidays are never fun for my family" "tomorrow will be fine" "whatever you say, i'll pick you up at 11" "i can drive you know" "me driving you ensures you either sleep over or don't go home until later, win win situation" "there's a thing called uber" we both laugh
"alright it's getting late i should head home" he says "yeah, i'll see you tomorrow" he smiles and walks downstairs
a few minutes later madi comes up "hey" "hi" "you and cole?" "you and owen?" "just friends, now back to you and cole" "just friends" "right" "i need to get home, see you later" "bye madi" she leaves and i'm left by myself
i walk to colins room "hey" i say sitting on his bed "hi" "what do you get a guy for christmas?" i ask "a sweatshirt, a watch, sweatpants- hold on why are you asking? "i'm going to owens christmas party tomorrow and i think i should get him something" "oh, ok i would just get him sweatpants maybe" "ok" "night alana" "night col"
i walk back to my room and fall asleep
the next morning i wake up to the alarm i had previously set for 8:45. early enough to go out and do some shopping but late enough to actually sleep. i throw on sweat pants and any shirt and head out the door.
the drive to the mall was quick, listening to music and stopping for coffee on the way. the first stop i entered was toys r us to get something for jack and ellie . i ended up picking out two lego sets and a stuffed lightening mcqueen for jack and a few stuffed animals and cute little books for ellie. the next store i went to was pink, there i picked out a sweatshirt and a few different perfumes for sara. and the last store was nike which i chose a black sweatshirt, green sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and a silver chain for owen.
