i run out the door and to my surprise he actually was along with shane and cole sitting in the back "do you guys not know how to drive or?" i turn to the two of them "it's easier for us to all go to one place after school than take three cars" carter says "so why am i here" i ask "i felt like being nice" owen says "new year new boy" shane laughs "we're gonna be late" i tell them
owen places his hand on my thigh and starts driving "so, you two" shane says dragging the 'o' "mhm?" owen hums "what's up with you guys? always on top of eachother, constantly touching, flirting, having sex twenty times a day" cole asks "okay it's not twenty times a day" i roll my eyes "nothing is going on between us" owen says while he moves his hand off my leg and back to the wheel.
the rest of the car was quiet beside the music playing once we got to school the four of us moved into the building "i need to grab my schedule and find madi i'll catch up with you guys later" cole says while walking away from us "i hate them together" i sigh, not really. they're rare just so happy it made me sick. "me too, i have to head to homeroom i'll see you at lunch" shane walks away "and then there were two" owen smirks "we need to get our schedules" i tell him
the two of us start walking to the front office "you know now that schools back in i'm gonna be pretty busy" he says "oh shut up you're the one who always wants to be with me all the time" i roll my eyes "and you always agree" "um no, i'm forced to go every time" "yeah okay"
"what are your classes" he asks once we get our schedules "first english with walsh , then home ec with turner, AP physics 2 with laroche lunch then gym with miller" "we have english, home ec and gym" he sighs "great" i sarcastically say "alright lets go" he says dragging the 'o'
the two of us walk into the first class which is english "mr smith, ms wright. you're late" was the first think me walsh says to us "we were grabbing our schedules at the office" i tell him "mhm, grab a seat" he says i scan the room seeing the only two seats open were across from mark and another girl i hadn't seen before "you've got to be kidding me" owen mumbles "we can switch tomorrow it's just for an hour" i assure him as the two of us sit across from them
"i'm kaylee" the red toned hair girl smiles from across the table "alana" i smile back owen and mark had there eyes locked on each other maybe they would makeout or something "welcome to your first english class of the semester, we have many books to read, projects to do and essays to write so let's not waste any time and get started with the class!" mr walsh says
after what felt like way longer than an hour the class was finally over "ready for home ec!" i say in an overly happy voice "no i don't wanna do that dumb shit" "you had to do it eventually" "i could easily get out of it" he says "so why don't you" "i'll go today and decide" "right" i say not believing him i knew he wouldn't switch out, i'm sure his dad would call or something but he won't switch
we were surprisingly the first ones in class and sat together unaware if we had any friends in the class "early birds i see, welcome to home economics!" mrs turner says i give her a smile and notice a few more students coming in most i hadn't seen before then cole and madi walk in together "oh thank god" i breath out and pull madi into the seat on the other side of me while cole sits on the other side of owen
"how was your first class" madi whispers "i had mark, so as good as that gets i guess" i sigh "i'm sorry love" "it's whatever"
the teacher goes on about what we're looking for in this class and how to pass it, honestly seemed easy so i wasn't worried the class went by pretty fast as no one talked except mrs turner but i wasn't complaining, it was no work my next class was science physics and i already checked with the group, no one had it with me i sighed at the thought, i hated being alone.
"i'll meet you at lunch" i tell madi "bye lana" we both go out separate ways and i start my walk to mr laroche "ms wright welcome to the class!" he says as i walk in i give him a smile and look for my name on a desk that he had assigned second row sharing a table with another person who's name tag i didn't bother to read
i go on my phone texting friends until i feel the presents of someone next to me, i turn my head to meet the blue eyes "you've got to be kidding me" i groan
