my alarm went off at 4:30am i sighed knowing i have to spend the next few days with the guy i hated most
i had to be at the school before 5:30 so i started getting ready as soon as i got up
my bag was already packed thank god

i put on a simple comfy outfit and walked out of my room with everything i needed
"leaving?" my mom quietly asked me
"yeah, i'll see you in a few days"
"have fun sweetheart i love you"
"love you mom"

it was 5:15 and people had started showing up about the same time i did i was kinda annoyed it was only a random class that i knew had cole in it and my history class were going there were about 6 girls in the whole class and i've never spoken a word to any of them well technically i hadn't i mean the bratty bitch who was was all over owen at the diner is and i figured out her name was lexi mota anyways she was here but i never noticed her in the class

i saw owens car pull up and i sighed
i put in my airpods and play a random playlist

after waiting about 15 minutes they were finally allowing students on the bus i was one of the last to get on seeing it went alphabetical and my last name was wright
i had planned on sitting by myself because it was a giant bus and there were only 20 something kids going
my plans quickly changed when owen grabbed my waist as i was walking by and say me down next to him

"what the hell" i whisper to him
"i didn't want to sit alone and shane already sat with connor and coke is with jeremy"
"so get your girlfriend to sit with you" i say in a bitchy tone
"ok her name is lexi and she's not my girlfriend so you can stop being jealous" he laughs
"im not jealous"
"mhm"
"i'm not"

"so if i go sit with her you won't be a little bit mad"
"i was the one who suggested it"
he laughs a little
"this is going to be a long trip if you guys don't stop fighting" shane says from the seat in front of us
"were not fighting" i quickly say
"let's get this straight, owen doesn't like lexi at all and you may be jealous because he was with her last night instead of you but the only reason we went tothe diner was so we could all see you, lexi has been trying to get with owen since last year and it has never worked but now that you're here it definitely won't" shane says
"why wouldn't it work now" i ask
"well you two are like in love with each other" shane says in a duh tone

"absolutely not" i quickly
"nah you got it wrong, she's in love with me i don't even consider her a friend"owen says laughing
my mouth drops and i hit him on the arm
"then why didn't you let mark have a chance with me?" i snap
shane covers his mouth and his eyes widen

"that's so different" owen says
"how so"
"he's bad for you"
"like you would know"
"i do"
"whatever you say" i smirk
shane turns back around and faces forward in his seat
i grab my blanket from my bag and re adjust in my seat

a few minutes later owen takes the whole blanket
"stop you're so annoying" i say trying to get the blanket back
"i can't help it if i'm cold"
"you have a blanket in your backpack grab that one" i say
"no i think i like this one" he smirks
"can you two shut the fuck up"shane groans

"i would rather be sitting with bitchy blonde then you" i snap
"be my guest"
"i'm gonna need my blanket"
"not a chance"
i reach for his bag and grab the blanket he packed
"was that so difficult" he asks
"it's 5:45am shut up" i snap
"someone's grouchy" he mumbles
"just stop talking"
he laughs a little and eventually we both fall asleep

a few hours later i wake up and look around completely forgetting where i was
"what time is it" i ask owen
"10:45"
i sigh and put my head back on my chair
"what's the problem now" he asks
"this trip takes like 41 hours of driving and it's only been about 5"
"well i don't know what to tell you"
i roll my eyes and look around again
most people are up some are still sleeping but it's just quiet chatter along the bus

"i'm going to the bathroom" he says
"have fun"
"wanna come" he whispers
"definitely not"
he laughs and walks to the bathroom

"so what's up with you guys" shane asks as him and connor turn to face me
"huh" i ask
"you and owen"
"nothing?"
"so you didn't stay at his house again the other night" connor asks
"i have no idea what you're talking about"
"so if i ask owen he'll say the same thing"
"maybe? i don't know. it's too early for this"

as i say that owen walks back over while he was gone i had managed to switch out blankets so i got mine back
"was alana at your house the other night" shane immediately asks
"yeah why" he says confused
i throw my head back
"point proven"
shane turns around
"what was that about" owen asks
"don't worry about it"
"no we're not gonna do this tell me"
"pass"

i face my head away from him trying to fall back asleep
"don't tell me you're going back to sleep" he sighs
"i'm tired" i whine
"what am i supposed to do for the next million hours" he asks
"sleep, talk to blondey .. i don't care whatever it is just be quiet"
"you're so boring" he whines
"then sit with someone else"
"you're the only one i wanna be with" he smirks
"watch yourself"
"or what?"
i glare at him
"alright i'm kidding" he laughs

a few hours later i wake up to owen poking my arm
"what" i groan
"were at a hotel" he says
"what time is it" i ask
"3:30"
"it's only been 10 hours" i sigh
"lets go"
i stand up and the two of us walk off the bus and stand next to it waiting for the luggage to come out
"you know there's only two beds in the room right" he smirks
"you three in one me in one"
"yeah no" he grabs my hand and pulls me to the front lobby
