owen was gone. it had been about a month i didn't know when he'd be back or if he was coming back at all. shane and cole don't seem surprised that he had left but it was once again the weekend well the end of it at least, it was sunday which meant another school week without owen. shane was with his fling of the month, emily was with chase, cole and madi were together while i was home. it was valentine's day so i wasn't mad they were all together usually i would be with owen just hanging out but i guess that was something i had to get used to. mom was out with a few friends at least that's what she said, i didn't believe her for a second though all her friends were married so i'm sure they were with their husbands. i figured she was with a guy, she had gone out a few nights the past month i just wish she'd talk to me about her guy shit.

"i'll be back soon, i promise" he says "be safe, i don't know what you're doing bud just be careful okay?" "yes ma'am, and i'll see you on your birthday" "stop saying that if you don't know yet" "i will try as hard as i can" owen says "have fun" he pulls me into his arms for a few seconds "alright i have to go, i don't know if we will be able to stay in contact but we can try" i sigh, as much as we argued he kept me busy i don't know what i would do with him not here "bye" with that he gets in his car and drives off
end of flashback
"what's up" colin asks walking into the living room "hey i'm trying to find a movie to watch with blair" i sigh "what's wrong" "i just miss my friends" "invite them over" "they're all busy" "owens still gone?" "yup" "i'm sorry" he sighs "its whatever"
the three of us ended up watching the sandlot, colin and i used to watch it all the time when we were younger. "you're killing me smalls" colin and i say the same time ham does i smile knowing the relationship i have with my brother will never be changed "ugh benny is so hot" i say "okay but look at wendy peffercorn" colin says
"alright i have school tomorrow, thanks for tonight" i smile "we can always watch movies together lana you know that" i take blair who was now sleeping in my arms and head upstairs "goodnight bubs" i kiss her forehead and lay her in her bed i head to my room and change into sweatpants and a sweatshirt and pull out my phone

fit^ "toast is on the counter and you look cute honey!" mom says as i reach the kitchen "thanks" i smile and sit with blair and colin at the table "need a ride today?" colin asks "yeah" i sigh colin had been driving me everyday now that owen wasn't. my cousin was using my car for moving so i haven't had it.

english first period with mark and kaylee woohoo. "hey" kaylee says as i take my seat across from her i give her a smile and pull out my notebooks mark wasn't here yet and i had hoped he wasn't going to come at all. sadly i was wrong when he sat down in his seat diagonal from me "still no loverboy?" he asks i ignore him as usual and wait for mr walsh to ask the same question
"ms. wright, anything from smith?" and there it was "no and i would appreciate it if you stopped asking me, i really don't think i'll ever know" "you just seemed closest with him so i thought you would have an idea about it"
a few classes had passed and it was finally lunch, chase had joined our table along with the girl shane had been hooking up, with i think her name was emma but i honestly don't know. which meant all of them were caught up on there own relationships but i chimed into conversations every few minutes
"how are you doing? you miss him?" madi asks "i'm fine, it's only been a month i don't really miss him i guess" i lied straight through my teeth "have you fucked anyone since" shane asks "luke, 5 or 6 times" i mumble, embarrassed. "wait what" emily whips her head around to face us "im lonely i just hope he doesn't think it's anymore than hooking up, he keeps asking to come over and i always let him i don't even know why" i sigh "it's cuz you miss owen" cole says "i do not miss him cole, shut up" "right" "i have to go to gym" "next class isn't for 10 minutes lana" em says. "i'm going early" i pack up my stuff and head to gym and just sit in the locker room i did miss owen but they would be so annoying about it if i had admitted it even if they all knew
gym class was boring as ever, all we did was play kickball for the whole class it wasn't that fun considering last time i played kickball i was in fifth grade
