" Oh my god, guys uh I have news." Rooney gulped in english class checking her phone.

" Can't this wait? Ms. Hensler has a short temper and a huge stick in her hand" I whispered.

" Yeah, I really don't want to get hit by it.... again. " Ashley said making a serious face.

" Um no.... it's kinda urgent but okay... it's just that I got into the university of Illinois, Chicago!" She whispered and then raised her voice into screaming as she reached the last word.

" Oh my god! Rooney!" We cheered.

" That's amazing!" I yelled hugging her.

" You're gonna be a professional photographer" Ashley said squealing as we hugged her.

" Girls!" The teacher yelled banging her stick on the desk. " Congratulations Rooney, I'm so happy for you and your friends too... " She said as we were confused. " For getting into detention! Haha!" She fake laughed.

Urgh! Detention!!

Nooooooooo!!!

But so worth it for Rooney going to her dream school.

Wooohhoo! That reminds me, I still haven't heard back from any college which I applied for.

I mean the play is there too which can open up opportunities to many programs all over USA but that doesn't mean I shouldn't apply for back up colleges.

I sent in my audition tape 2 months ago and I still haven't heard back but nothing to panic I think, except for the loss of a good future of course.

You're being dramatic, it's gonna be fine! Chill a little, I mean, I believe in you.

" Urgh, detention." I sighed.

" I'm sorry miss, it was my fault, I just wanted to share the news with them and they just got a little carried away. They shouldn't be getting detention." Rooney explained.

" Um, okay fine. No detention for y'all" she said.

" Wait, really?" We asked in shock and excitement.

Oh my gosh, there's no way!

" Nope!" She replied with a smirk.

Lol she is so weird.

" You will serve detention next week" She said." Here you go, don't worry I'm not going to put this on your permanent record, that is if you behave in class henceforth" she continued.

Detention

" Come on in girls" Miss. Hensler continued " Don't be sad Brooke, on the plus side you guys can have her go away party here! You know I would love to be a part of it " She cheered.

" Go away party?" I said putting my hands on the door as I looked over at Ashley with a confused look.

" What's going away? Who's going away?" Ashley asked giving me a confused look.

" Um uh the college called and said that I have to get there a little early..." Rooney gulped.

" How early? I mean colleges don't start until August or September..." I asked.

" Uh April " She replied. " They want me to learn some things with the batch that's already there."

" What?!" Me and Ashley shouted in unison looking at each other.
