Dear diary

Sad

Days were passing by quickly, and prom was getting closer which meant Rooney was going in less than 2 weeks. We were all so sad but we didn't want to cry until the very end, so we could enjoy as much as we could till then instead of wasting crying. Although there were some occasional tears.

" Check!" Rooney said checking off another item of our list.

Me and the other girls had made a whole list about fun stuff to do before high school ended, it had literally everything in it. From going to Disneyland, taking a road trip together, camping, sleepovers, cooking, binging shows, eating a lot of food and what not. 

We were having so much fun. We didn't want it to end.

" Binging Netflix, here we come!" Ashley said cheering.

If there is one thing Ashley loves is Netflix and popcorn with nutella.

" When you say binging Netflix, how many shows are we talking about here?" Bianca asked so seriously.

" All of them?" Ashley chuckled.
" Kidding, we even have to study or we fail our finals and then we're still gonna be stuck here." She laughed.

" Would it be that bad though? If we were all just stuck here with each other for another year?" Rooney asked.

Suddenly everyone started laughing until we realized she didn't and that something was up with her.

" Rooney, what's wrong?" I asked as the others made a circle around her.

" Um nothing it's just--- doing so many things together made me realize how much fun we are having together and... I don't want it to end." She sighed.

" Rooney...." Auntumn said as we hugged her.

Wow! Autumn is hugging people voluntarily? That's weird.

" We don't want it to end either, but we're so happy for you! You're gonna do great!" I said smiling trying so hard not to cry.

" I don't want to go to Chicago." She cried.

" Rooney urgh" Ashley said putting her hand near her eyes so she won't cry
" You have a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn with some of the best photographers in the world!" She continued. " Why don't you want that?"

" I thought that's what I wanted, but I don't want to be away from all of you... I know I said it was okay, but it isn't, I'm going to miss this. " she said. " I wanna go to Chicago but... I just can't leave Pasadena yet" she sighed.

" Look, Rooney on the plus side Chicago isn't that far. We can easily road trip there and get you and come back here and have so much fun, it'll be like you never left!" Autumn said.

" You are really gonna do that?" She asked looking like an innocent puppy.

" Oh heck yeah we are!" Bianca said as she laughed and opened her hands for a hug.

" Wow, you guys are loving to hug these days" I said looking at Ashley as we hugged then tightly.

" Um and it's back to not liking hugging." Bianca said freeing her self as the others did too.

Aww, we had to try!

Haha! Wow I'm really gonna miss this. I know I only came here last year and my past was not exactly filled with a group of friends, friends who actually cared. Coming here has really changed that.

I have found so many amazing friends and I'm so grateful for them, it's like I've found my people.

" Netflix binging we come! " Ashley said walking out of there as we followed her.
