" You should do this" Josh said as he handed me the poster." You seem like the acting type"
" Um okay. Hey I am Brooke btw"
" Nice to meet you Brooke, and I am sorry for the phone thing again and ahy don't you just think about it?"
" Okay but I thought this school was about academics and academics only"
" No, now that's a rumour it's a multi talent school. Promise you'll think about it?"
" Sure, I mean why not?" I asked as I waved him bye as I headed to class.
I played it off cool infront of him but on the inside I was dying with happiness!

" We're going to Rooney's house after school. You in? Bring Aliya too" Ashley said.
" Um no actually I'm gonna audition for the play and Aliya left last night." I said as Ms. Walker was distributing the grades for last week's assignment.
" Well done Dave and Brooke, not bad" she said handing out out sheets as we smiled and high fived.

" We make a great team" Dave said smiling at me.
" Yeah just English partners, nothing more hehe" she nervously laughed.
" Sorry for acting like a jerk and sorry because she was born haha " Dave whispered.
" It's alright, I have a brother too I get it except I have no problem with his love life." We laughed.

" So is that it?" Ms. Walton said as she looked around.
" I'm here. I am so sorry I am late. I just had a lot of stuff to do. It won't happen again I promise." I said running to the stage.
" In the theatre there is no late coming Brooke."
" I know that more than anybody, I just uh can I just get a chance?"
" She's really good" Josh whispered to her as he winked at me.
" Fine! Let's see what you got"
" Okay um I'm gonna sing breaking free from high school musical"
" Josh, please join the lady" she gracefully said.

I quickly gather myself and wipe my tears away as Josh smiles at me and tells me to calm down.

" Thank you for coming out everybody we saw some great talent today. The final cast list will be hung up in 15 mins now everyone get out!" She yelled.

" You were fantastic. People like you is what this musical needs" Josh said we walked outside the auditorium.

" We got it Brooke!" Josh chuckled as everyone gathered about the cast list posted on the board.
" What do you mean?"
" We're Shane and Madeline." He said.
" Oh my-- wow! I can't believe it!" I said taking a deep breath.

" Hey Dave I got the part! I'm gonna be Madeline. See you soon."
We are kinda not hating each other now, it's been a while since the break up and Dave and I are just chilling and talking more, just getting to know each other.
" Um hey Brooke" Ashley said answering the book.

" It's weird how you called Dave instead of me"
" Um not like that I just called any one because you know, you guys live in the same place. Ya okay bye"
" Uh huh" Ashley said.
I hope she doesn't think anything else by that I mean what's actually happening. To be honest nothing really is going on because we aren't really dating. I just have to be more careful from next time.
