First times are said to be imperfectly perfect.

Indeed they are...

This isn't just my first attempt on fan-fiction, it was a journey in itself. I came across you beautiful readers, learned many things, while shaping the plot personally discovered answers to many questions. Along with that, the comments by you readers made me feel worthy. For someone who finds her solace in playing with words, such appreciation is the best motivator. And I can never thank you enough for supporting me. To all the active readers as well as the silent ones, as much as this story is mine, it is yours. You all are the guiding force behind it's completion. I'm learning to write such fictions and for every moment I disappointed you, I'm extremely sorry. I hope you'll let me know how I can improve.

Coming to the story, I've mentioned earlier that this is Mishti's journey, her outlook on life, her choices, her turmoils and her feelings. Maybe at many points, I focused on her point of view and her emotions only, many times she's unsure of her feelings, her emotions and reacted in a wrong manner. She's bold and strong yet vulnerable and weak in a complicated way. That's what happens when we do not resolve our emotions. Mishti is very much flawed and she makes mistakes.

I wanted to write more of Anurag and AnuBir, but well, that didn't exactly happen! I'm sorry about another thing, maybe Anurag's dynamics could have been explored more as well as Abir's too. In an order to not complicate it and not to build a love-triangle, I tried not to stretch the plot and that's the biggest loophole, I feel.

Mishti was the victim, I tried exploring her as much as possible. I can never feel a single bit of the pain and emotional torture such victims go through, but as I mentioned earlier, if not anything, I hope I could give you a food for thought. If you remember, the story started with Mishti thinking of committing to Anurag and as the events unfold, there came a moment when she even feared to commit to Abir. Mishti might look selfish here, but if you notice her, I hope you'll get her stand. Facing the past was her only fear because somewhere she knew her past, her emotions are unresolved. She was sure of Abir's hatred towards her and that made her believe that he has moved on. Even Abir thought the same which led to confusion. Probably she didn't expect Abir to show up the way he did and the day she faced Abir for the first time, every unrecognized emotion, conflicts, questions came to play. Everything was changed.

Have you noticed how the course of the story shifts every time Abir and Mishti meets?

And that's exactly where the main story began. Do you see the lack of communication here? In real life, how many times do we take time to look at our feelings carefully? Over that, most of the time we fail to communicate which in return, harms us in every way. In fact, aren't we the one taking ourselves for granted often?

"Ho Sake Toh Rehna Tum Saath Mere..."
I chose the title because there's a request, not any enforcement or any kind of possession. And if you noticed no one in this story insisted the other to fall in love with them compulsorily, all they want is the other to stay by their sides, if he/she can. It's all about giving a chance. I don't know if this could be reflected well in the chapters, but I tried.

Thanking you all again for the love you've showered upon this story. Trust me reading all your beautiful comments gives such immense happiness, I can't even put into words. Repeating it again and again, if this story is here today, it's because of you all only. I'm not mentioning anyone as I'll feel bad if I miss any name but I hope you know that I'm talking about you. But I'm grateful, always..

Thank You Fam. In our very own Abir Rajvansh's words,
Hum toh musafir the,
Aap logon ne manzil bankar bohot saath diya...

Life is a circle.
So in this circle of time, I hope we'll meet again, I can't promise but will definitely try to come up with a new story.

Till then, Sayonara ...

Love and Respect to everyone always,

Kia :-)

P.S. I'll wait for your comments ✨ Also if you've reached this I hope you'll check out my second story which is hopefully a bit better than this one 🙈 All the love <3

Happy New Year to you all.....
