"What? Nishant's father?" Anurag exclaimed.

"You mean to say Nishant Maheswari? Woh school wala banda? How is he even related to Mishti's condition anyway? You said his father. How does he fit in this scene?" His eyes were full of questions.

Neither Naira nor Parul uttered a single word. Anurag was getting restless and now nothing was making any sense.

"Is that why Abir Rajvansh was inquiring about Mishti and Nishant?" After a while of thinking, it seemed finally Anurag could connect some dots. Is there anything else he is unaware of? Why was Mishti under medication? But how can Nishant be the cause of Mishti's condition? Does Abir know about it?

Wait! As far as he could remember, wasn't Naira the ex-girlfriend of Nishant!

Anurag looked at Naira who was weeping right now. He immediately turned to Parul and folded his hands in front of her, "Aunty please, please don't hide anything from me now. "In the inaugural party of the new branch of our company, we should announce Abir and Sonakshi's alliance." Meenakshi declared at the breakfast table.

Abir's anger shocked Kunal and Meenakshi was baffled. As the youngest of the family Kunal has been the stubborn and rebellious one but such a reaction was totally unexpected from Abir. Not that Meenakshi would force Abir to marry, but she could sense that he was not his usual self for the last few days and that is why she talked about Sonakshi to make his mood better.

But it made his mood worse.

And what shocked Meenakshi more was that he was talking about secrets!

"Abir, my son, you know this very well that no one is forcing you to marry. I know you're disturbed and that's why I said so... But why are you saying that we hide things from you?
