me right now realizing i started this book on new years last year so this book is gonna be a year old in 2 days🥲 i decided to stop writing the book after only writing like 6 chapters cause i lost hope then started back up again like a lot of months later and it's crazy how far it's come

i was scrolling through tiktok and liking fan edits when i got a DM
DM from: mar mar: hi y/n, um i know it's been a bit since i've talked with you and the last time i saw u wasn't the best but i thought we could get to know each other, not as a relationship just friends! i know your with mattia y/n: uh hi mar! and sure you seem like a great friend
i texted mattia before i sent that and he said he didn't care but if he flirts or something just stop texting him and i agree
mar: so can i get ur number? y/n: uh yeah it's **********
text from: ********** ?: hi it's mar y/n: heyy mar: so do you wanna like grab lunch tomorrow? y/n: just us or with people? cause we can invite des, she's super cool mar: is she single y/n: yes, her and robert are taking things slow from a predicament mar: oh ok, can it just be us?
i texted mattia and he said no to just us lmaomakes sense why i told mar i'll go if we can bring mattia kairi and des since they are free
mar: fine y/n: is that a problem? mattia just doesn't feel comfy with just us and i'm gonna respect that mar: it's cool, see you tomorrow
i went back to commenting on fan edits and stuff till i fell asleep

i got dressed into that and picked up the three on the way to the restaurant
right when we walked in i saw mar sitting at a booth mattia looked a little annoyed so i gave his hand a quick squeeze and he smiled down at me
mar: hey y/n mar came up to us and gave me a hug i pulled away kinda fast cause i didn't even think he was gonna do that y/n: hi mar des: hi i'm des he gave her a smile and smiled at kairi and mattia kairi: hey mar it's been a while he dabbed him up and mattia nodded and dabbed him up too
mar: ok so i got us a table, y/n ur sitting next to me right he laughed and nudged my side y/n: sure mar sat down then i went next to him and mattia was on the other side of me
des and kairi took the other side and fought for who gets inside and who gets outside i swear they fight like siblings tbh des ended up getting the inside and kai rolled his eyes at her
text from mattia mattia: dw i got my eyes on him y/n: i'm fine baby lmaooo mattia: if he tries anything he's gone i smiled a little at the text then put my phone down and layed my head on mattia shoulder
i ordered *whatever u wanna eat* and the rest of them ordered what they wanted and we talked about influencer events and random stuff

y/n: uh i'm gonna use the bathroom, des wanna come with me please des: sure, kairi move your fat ass now kairi: no bitch! he said in his high pitch voice des: ok then she walked over him making sure to step on him
kairi: OW WTF des: i asked u to move they flipped eachother off and i laughed
i showed des the text and her mouth dropped des: who says that when they know the other persons in a healthy relationship y/n: i have no idea and idk what to do
