narrator pov:

des and y/n were completely asleep when y/ns phone went off at 3 in the morning

y/n: hello?
y/n said half asleep
mattia: y-y/n pls p-pls pick me up
mattias voice was breaking as he talked
y/n: omg tia are you ok i'm coming right now
mattia: y-yes i need you though
y/n: ok ok it's gonna be ok i'll stay on call with you ok?
mattia: o-ok, go through my w-window though
y/n: ok i will

y/n asked des if she could use her car and she'd be back super soon with mattia
des said sure and y/n started up the car speeding over to mattias

when she arrived she ran over to his window and tapped on it lightly
mattia looked up slowly and y/ns heart broke as she saw her boyfriend with a black eye and bloody lip.
his eyes were puffy and tears were streaming down his face
he ran over to the window opening it and jumping out
he instantly grabbed onto her as tight as he could picking her up

mattia: t-thank you so much
y/n: oh course tia, what happened baby
she said touching his lip as she flinched at the touch on open wound
y/n: oh- i'm sorry i didn't mean to hurt you, come on let's go to des house and i'll clean your face up

she kissed his cheek so she wouldn't hurt him then held his hand and sat him in the car gently
the car ride silent as y/n just squeezed his hand and let him know she was there for him and he knew that

they got to des house and walked in quietly and made there way to the bathroom
mattia sat on the counter and y/n grabbed stuff to clean his face
she grabbed a cotton ball, rubbing alcohol, bandages, and filled a cup with water

she slowly poured a bit of water over his lip and looked at the puffy lip underneath the blood.
it wasn't a cut so it must of been from a punch

y/n: if you wanna wait to tell me what happened tomorrow that's ok with me
she smiled softly at him and he did the same back
she put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and put it to his lip and he flinched hard at the pain

mattia: ah fuck that shit hurts so bad
he whispered making y/n laugh a little
she knew it would hurt but it's the only way to make sure it doesn't get infected

he held her waist as she dapped it on his lip a few times
mattia: are u almost done with that or are u just having fun with it now
he smiled a little
she put the cotton ball into the trash and looked at his black eye

she didn't want to touch it and hurt him so she just left it alone since there wasnt blood

y/n: ok let's go get you some water and go to bed since it's 4 in the morning
she laughed quietly
he nodded and they made their way to the kitchen and filled up two cups with water and ice

they went to des room and y/n made mattia a good enough bed on the floor then got back into des bed with des still sleeping

the next morning

y/n woke up with a throbbing head ache and saw des already getting ready for school
it's friday and y/n might just skip school if mattia wants to
he was still sleeping on the floor and y/n looked down at him admiring him

des: ur in love love
y/n: shut up
she laughed

y/n told des everything that went down last night so that mattia doesn't have to
she grabbed medicine for her headache and took it with water

y/n did brushed out her hair and put light makeup on then brushed her teeth

she put on a white crop top with baggy light wash mom jeans then shook mattia a bit waking him up

y/n: goodmorninggg
he smiled at her and pulled her down and cuddled her

y/n: i think me and him are gonna skip school today, we will leave ur house when u leave for school
y/n whispered to des and she felt mattia smiled
