narrator pov:

it has been 2 days and y/n still has not woken up but the doctors aren't worried about it because that's normal for a coma

the group however panics more everyday
they are still in LA because y/n can't leave obviously so they aren't going to leave her there alone

all the parents know but y/n's mom's job is super important and right now there is a spree there that her boss won't let her leave or take days off

that is devastating to her and she is so worried about y/n
but she knows she would understand

the group hasn't been going anywhere or hanging out with anyone
just staying at the hotel hanging out with each other

as usual everyday kairi and des want to kill each other more and more but they are staying calm for
y/n

mattia doesn't talk with the group that much, he more just stays in the room that him y/n and kairi were sharing and remember the night before the accident
he regrets everything deeply and prays that she won't hate him forever
he didn't mean for it to happen

he was really drunk but he also knows that's not an excuse for anything cause y/n gets drunk at every party and hasn't cheated ever
he hates himself for it and he can't get the face of her broken eyes when she saw him
her eyes went from being in love with him to being completely broken, dark, and colorless

it was painful to look at and it replayed in his head every time he closed his eyes to try to sleep

he knew he messed up right when he kissed that girl in the bathroom
right when their lips touched it's almost like part of him became sober and all he thought about was regretting it and y/n
the girl took off his clothes fast and that's when y/n walked in

kairi: i'm so hungry
des: me too
ale: same ugh
kairi: ayo mattia r u hungry
he mumbled something
des: what
mattia: yes yes i am
he sounded kinda angry
kairi: why r u so mad
mattia: y/n
kairi: that doesn't have to make u mad at us
mattia: ok ok i'm sorry, let's go get food
ale: we're sorry to bro, ur going through it

they don't know the story at all or why it's kind of mattias fault y/n is in a coma
but mattias planning on telling them tonight or tomorrow
he's scared they're gonna hate him though

they walked down the street to a McDonald's and they all got whatever they wanted

they went back to the hotel and ate while watching a movie on the tv
des: y/n would've loved to do this
she laughed a little while biting into her burger
kairi: yeah this is her kinda thing
ale: ya except she also likes to be crazy and shit
he lightly laughed
des: yeah she would probably have already started up music and danced around the hotel

they all laughed genuine laughs for the first time since the accident
it felt good but mattia was pretty silent except smiling lightly remembering the good times
it didn't seem like a good time to tell them so he waited

kairi turned a bit more towards the boys
kairi: remember in like junior year when we suprised y/n and jas with that set up in ur room
ale: oh yeah! that was when we're were barley close
mattia: yeah, me and y/n had our first kiss that night

he said looked down
kairi: and me and her had our first fight
he laughed remembering them arguing and her tackling him to the floor
ale: she is a wild lil bitch

des: i remember the first day i met y/n, the beginningish of this year she came to me when she saw i was all alone in the girls locker room, i was already low key a fan of y'all (they already know that) so i freaked out knowing u guys. turns out ur all just asshole teenage boys

she laughed
kairi: bitch i could say the same things about you
she pushed him lightly laughing

ale: i just miss her so much
all of them: same
they sighed and finished their food and played the movie

while mattia sat there in his thoughts wondering what the fuck he was gonna do
