Addictive Romance [Yuyan X Jiaqi]

"Yuyan, I swear if I die, it's your fault." Grabbing onto the bar as tight as she could, Jiaqi had her eyes already shut while Yuyan laughed at her.

"You do realise that if you die, I'll die too since we're right next to each other, right?" As she sniggered at the girl who was on the verge of screaming her lungs out if it moves an inch, Yuyan relaxingly held onto the bar.

The taller girl had brought her to an amusement park. It was Jiaqi's first time in an amusement park and of course the first ride Yuyan had dragged her to was one of the largest roller coaster in there. It had many swirls and steep drops, the sight of it already scaring the poor girl.

Yuyan was about to joke again when she noticed how genuinely frightened the short haired girl was. And they had not even moved yet. Her breaths were heavier and her face was as pale as a sheet of paper. Feeling concerned for Jiaqi, Yuyan immediately held her hands and pushed her against her own body.

"Jiaqi, do you believe me?"

The short haired girl trembled as she looked up at Yuyan, confused as to why she was even bringing that up.

"Y-yes..."

Smiling softly at her, Yuyan then tightened her grip on her hands as she calmed the girl down.

"Then hold onto my hand and never let go. It's not as scary as it seems so don't let the appearance trick you. Enjoy the wind gushing against your face as you yell. Trust me, you won't regret it."

Just as her reassuring words escaped her mouth, the cart started jerking forward, causing Jiaqi to whimper in fear. Her pounding heart had indeed calmed down however, she was still a tiny bit afraid. Yuyan who noticed this begun tracing soothing circles against the skin of her hand.

"Trust me, Jiaqi."

The cart started accelerating to a high point and before they knew it, it dropped. Some screamed as if they were going to die while others laughed at the screams. Yuyan was just enjoying the wind and speed like she had always except this time, she was also glancing at Jiaqi to make sure she's alright.

Surprisingly to Yuyan, Jiaqi's eyes were not closed and instead of yelling in fear, she was yelling in joy. Turns out the short haired girl found it fun more than scary by the time the third drop came. Knowing that she was having fun, Yuyan felt her heart swell in joy.

After the ride, Jiaqi got off in great shape with Yuyan teasing the girl.

"See? It wasn't that bad, was it? I mean, you were even smiling!" Exclaiming as she slid a hand around her waist, Yuyan ran her fingers through Jiaqi's messy hair, trying to straighten it. The latter returned the action and reached to Yuyan's lion mane like auburn hair before replying.

"Fine, I admit that you are right. Also, did I look weird smiling?"

Shaking her head, Yuyan answered with an immediate no. Jiaqi narrowed her eyes as she looked at her suspiciously before linking arms with the girl.

"Just Joking. You look extremely weird and adorable. Your chubby cheeks were just too cute." Yuyan smirked, enjoying the expression on Jiaqi's face. The short haired girl only pouted before laughing it off.

Before the two knew it, they were already on their second one. Since the queues were not as long as expected, they would not have to wait that long.

"Why are we on this child like one? We are literally sat in teacups painted baby pink going round and round." Yuyan deadpanned as she looked around, seeing only children and younger teens sitting in the teacups. Embarrassment crept up her face.
