"Why are we here again?" Groaning miserably, Jiaqi stared blankly at her friends who were already ordering a variety of alcohol by the bar. Daimeng rolled her eyes as she passed a cup of vodka to her while nudging the reluctant girl, "Oh c'mon. It's a club, loosen up and have fun!"
Grabbing the cup from her hands, Jiaqi continued staring at the liquid inside while huffing, "But I don't want to have fun. Worse case scenario is me getting kidnapped." With exasperation, Sunrui gulped down a shot before addressing Jiaqi again, "You're already 18 for goodness sakes! Please, just this once."
Not able to resist her friends' puppy eyes, Jiaqi ended up giving in and slowly sipped the vodka down, almost choking at how bitter and spicy it was. The burning and prickly sensation in her throat soon faded away as she glanced around the club. It was filled with young adults grinding and dancing together as streams of colourful lights shone on the dance floor. The music boomed loudly while the dj continued hyping the crowd up.
Jiaqi was more of an introvert than extrovert. Daimeng and Sunrui were her only friends as they had been with her since she was 4 years old. Other than that, she hated socialising with others. Additionally, she preferred silence and peace to loud, noisy environments, the only thing that was convincing her to stay was her friends right then.
Sighing desperately, Jiaqi turned back to Sunrui and was about to ask when they were leaving when she realised they weren't there anymore. Panic and worry struck her as the first thoughts which came to her mind was Daimeng and Sunrui being kidnapped, until she noticed the two dancing together with a group of unfamiliar girls.
"Those two bitches are seriously a pain in the butt." Mumbling to herself, she decided to refill her cup and down another shot. That was an opportunity to escape, however she knew that both Daimeng and Sunrui would be completely drunk sooner or later. And there was no way she was letting them drunk drive. Needing to go the toilet, she left her seat and made her way down the narrow path with people pushing against her. Just exactly what she hated.
The sight which made her hatred for this place increase even more was two girls making out right against a toilet cubicle. She needed to pee so badly but those two didn't even notice her and that was the only toilet cubicle left since the other one was under maintenance. Not having a choice but to ask them to move aside, Jiaqi awkwardly cleared her throat and managed to speak up.
"Uh...Sorry to interrupt but could y'all kindly scoot aside? I need to use the toilet really badly."
She was surprised she didn't stutter much given that one of the girl looked intimidating as hell. Long wavy ash brown hair, huge mesmerising eyes, a perfectly sculpted nose and a kissable and plump lips. In fact, she looked incredibly gorgeous. No words could describe her beauty.
Silence filled the washroom except the somewhat distant music playing as the two girls paused what they were doing and stared at her. One was looking at her an apologetic gaze while the other had an emotionless gaze.
"Oh we're sorry."
Awkwardly bowing as a thank you to them, Jiaqi rushed into the cubicle, leaving the couple to continue what they were doing. When she exited the small cubicle, she hadn't expect one of them staring directly at her as if waiting for her to get out. She was leaning against the sink with her arms crossed as her intense gaze casted upon Jiaqi.
The short haired girl didn't know what to do except once again, awkwardly excusing herself, "Could you move a bit to the side? I- uh, I would like to wash my hands." She didn't know what to say.
She'd thought that the girl would either beat her up or silently let way. But what she didn't expect was the girl smirking devilishly and mockingly at her, "Are you normally this awkward?" Jiaqi also hadn't expect her voice to be that deep and seductive, but of course she shook those thoughts away.
Nodding her head, Jiaqi turned on the faucet and hurriedly washed her hands, not wanting to strike a conversation with the intimidating girl. However, when she had turned around, she was taken aback with surprise as the taller girl was right in front of her. Jiaqi then realised that she was trapped between her and the sink. That was when she started panicking greatly.
The stranger's face was dangerously close to hers to the point that if anyone were to slightly lean in, their lips would have touched. Gulping in fear, Jiaqi muttered in a hushed voice, "Please don't hurt me. I didn't mean to offend you and your girlfriend just now. I'm sorry." That was the only possible reason Jiaqi could think of for her actions.
With a tiny amused smile on her face, the stranger let out a little melodious laugh. Her hands then reached up to Jiaqi's face as she gently caressed her slight rosy cheeks, "You're cute. What's your name?"
The short haired girl's eyes widened in fear and shock while negative thoughts flooded her mind. What if she's sugar coating her words to kill me after asking for my name? Why did I even give into Sunrui and Daimeng? Also does her girlfriend even allow this?
"Uh Mam, I-I can't simply tell you my name. I don't even know you."
Jiaqi was beyond freaked out, there were so many thoughts that she couldn't process in that moment. Snapping her out of her frantic mind, the taller's voice significantly lowered while replying her, "My name's Yuyan and I'm turning eighteenth next month. There, now you know me."
Raising a confused brow, Jiaqi frowned adorably, "Um...I don't think that's how it works."
Yuyan tried resisting the urge to smile at how innocent and pure the girl in front of her was. It was the first time she had ever had an encounter like that. If she was any other girl, they would have probably been in a bed right then.
Unconsciously, her eyes scanned the girl's face. At such a close distance, she could vividly see every single perfection on her face including that cute little mole right next to her left eye. There wasn't a single flaw about her.
"What's your phone number?" Completely ignoring her previous words, Yuyan asked another question with Jiaqi panicking once more. This time noticing how her shimmering eyes were quivering in fear, Yuyan reluctantly decided to take a step back and give her some space before tugging a strand of hair behind her ears.
"Never mind, you don't have to answer that. I believe we'll meet again if luck is on my side." Flashing a charming boxy smile, Yuyan decided to leave a peck on her forehead before exiting the washroom. Jiaqi was completely stunned.
Did I just get kissed on the forehead by a complete stranger who was extremely beautiful? She bit down on her lip as her hand unconsciously reached up to her forehead. Jiaqi didn't know what exactly to feel. However, she knew for a fact that she definitely didn't hate it. And that was extremely weird and unusual for someone like her. Jiaqi herself didn't like how she didn't hate that.
