57 - Let's Have a Walk...

"Now, how did you convince the Catherine Baker?"

"You don't have to use 'the' to get the attention on that particular word. And we had some unfinished business to settle and she agreed."

I was eyeing him with raised brows.

Why?

Of course that unsettled business was tempting.

"You don't have to dig into the matter. All that matters is she is ready to play her fair share." He reasoned.

My shoulder slumped with disappointment.

Suddenly we were out of topic and were gushing over our own thoughts.

"Let's have a walk." I wasn't the one to suggest the idea.

"What?" I seeked confirmation for his 'Out of Blue' suggestion.

"Stop being dramatic and let's go." With that Jack just sprinted off the stairs leaving me on the balcony.

I wasn't a fool to stay there so I ran to follow him.

Just as I approached him, I heard his small laugh.

"I knew it." Jack commented.

"Ha-Ha. Great assumption." I just sarcastically babbled and with that I started walking ahead of him. 

I walked out of the cabin and as I didn't know in which direction, I decided to have a walk in right hand side direction assuming Jack would follow me.

But that Jerk just held my elbow and dragged me to the opposite side.

I was sulking over this and then he asked, 

"What will you do once these two dumb heads will finally confess their love?"

I was surprised and confused with his behavior. So I did only one thing to confirm that he was normal.

I touched his forehead but it had normal temperature.

"Ohh Come on. I am just curious." He mumbled.

I laughed hard, very hard. I just dramatically turned to him "Hey you Jerk, you know, curiosity killed the cat." 

I was wiggling my eyebrows but what he did made my brain to stop functioning!

Jack just put his one hand on my shoulder and started walking.

The distance  - I mean the 'No distance' between us was little different.

Good one to that Jiyana!

Shut-up Jiyana!!

"Actually yes! Shut-up Jiyana." Jack heard it and I literally facepalmed myself.

"I'll make all preparations for their wedding. And I'll be the godmother of their children! And if they agree I would like to give their children some classic Bollywood movie character name and I-"

"I asked - What would you do?" He cleared his question in exasperation.

"I..." - His question sent me to the pool of thoughts to which I never had a chance to dwell on. 

I got friends on second day and a home to stay in next week and a part time job shortly after that. I never had to face that much of a struggle in a new country especially because of Charlotte.

Suddenly I was pulled out of my thoughts by very attractive eyes staring right back at me. He held my both hands was shaking me to bring me on the earth.

"You don't have to stress yourself. I was just asking and it is not that Ethan will confess his love today. He need more courage for that." 

But I was more focused on those blue eyes and then he was just staring right back at me, stopping me to divert my attention anywhere.

I don't know whether his face was getting closer to mine or I was leaning on to him. But noise from the lake side tree I suddenly leapt on the very person standing before me.

I was terrified of the noise I heard but after few seconds I was more terrified with the situation we were in. I was breathing heavily and tried to get myself free from his hold but he kept me there and ran his hands through my hair almost like comforting me and that really worked.

After few minutes that comforting hand just stopped...

Say what, he realized NOW!

 He slowly let go me from his hold. 

He was walking backward as if going to the cabin, but for both of our surprise -

"Let's have a walk." 

Said I.

Hey Wattpaders!!!

What a lame come back! - I know right. 

I m extremely sorry for just vanishing for months! 

But got my writing spirit back! ;)

So here's to some cheesy scenes of Jiyana and Jack.

Let's just hope this matchmaking bring these two opposite maniacs closer.
