32- Close your mouth and Run

"Mr. Ni- Jack I needed you here for upcoming board meeting as new academic year is now started. We have made some new rules and few amendments to existing ones." Mr. Dean started his board meeting conversation and I signaled Charlotte to get out from office. Charlotte and I stood up from our seats. We took our leave and Jack couldn't do anything as he was engaged in conversation.

We were wandering around the campus ad Charlotte was showing me most common used areas of college where I can spend my time with friends after lectures. – FRIENDS!!! Ha! I am probably going to spend my free time at home or library or café – WITHOUT FRIENDS! I would make one or more acquaintances to make it less uncomfortable.

She was constantly sharing her memories with the college most of which only revolved around three of them. Some boys were staring at her but I made their horny ideas stop then and there with daggers of my eyes. As if it was not enough and with my short height they didn't take my existence seriously, one courageous boy came forward.

"Hey beauty, are you free in evening?"

"She is graduated girl from this college and thus she is basically your senior! And no she is not-" Before Charlotte could give him any reply, I fired back that dumb boy, and before I could complete my sentence Lover Boy interrupted. 

"And she is out of your league kiddo. And if you want to complete your education without hazards back off." Ethan appeared from behind circling Charlotte's shoulder with protective manner giving that boy an extreme warning.

'If you really want no one to come to her then why are you being coward?' I thought.

The boy just rolled his eyes and went back. Even that boy understood Ethan's feeling and here I have these two dumbest people on earth. And I want to get my schedules and attend classes.

"You guys now go. I'll manage from here. Thank You for coming." I turned around but as of none of these three wanted it someone grabbed my wrist and I knew from grip who is he.

"Listen-" Have I ever got to complete my sentence when I am around this Jerk?

"Your schedule. You don't have to wander around college. Now go, your lectures are starting in ten minutes." Jerk announced.

"And whose fault is that?" I raised my brow narrowing my eyes at him.

He let out a defeated sigh and gesture his hand toward far end corridor. "There, go straight and turn left, your first lecture is being held in last room. Here are your locker credentials. Keep it safe. Now probably seven minutes are left, close your mouth and run. You can check your locker later." My mouth quickly shut. I took a look at the papers having my schedule and locker details and again at Jack.

Ethan turned me towards my way and I flinched on their screaming voice "GO"

I started my way towards my supposed classroom and I could still see three of them standing at same spot. I waved them and suddenly warning bell went off and I ran to the corridors. I certainly don't want to be late on first day! I heard laughing voices and I know exactly source of the voices.

I took a look at the schedule Jack handed me to confirm the Room number. I found the room and opened the door just froze because professor was already there in classroom filled with students. My eyes widened at realization that I am late and I looked at professor apologetically making my way to any empty seat. I halted in my steps as he announce, "Are you the new Indian Student miss..." I turned to look at him and he was searching my name in register he held in his hand.

"It's Jiyana Agnihotri sir." I said gently. He took his eyes from register and smiled at me making me sigh in relief.

"Yes, Miss. Agnihotri. You may take seat now." He announced. It sounds funny how he pronounced my last name! I nodded and turned to find any empty seats but much to my disappointment, there was only one seat beside one decent looking guy. Our eyes met and he slid his bag to other side signaling me to seat beside him. He is nerd, I am sure. Why? He put his attention back to the book.

Why is he reading book? Was I supposed to bring any book?

"No." boy said to me.

I think Jerk is right about me speaking my mind aloud. I scrunched my eyes scolding myself.

I turned my attention back to over enthusiastic professor. He is happier than students on first day of college. He is doing work he loves. Professor gave brief introduction about the 'International Financial Management' the subjects he was going to teach us.

I know right, I am terrible at job of updating the chapters but what can I do? Date extension didn't make it less hectik. 

I was busy hanging out with my friends. ;) We were extremely busy on totally unnecessary things. 

Coming to our protagonist her first day at college started being late although she get her schedules and other necessary things without hazards thanks to more than necessary popular friends!

Let's see how the first day of college will end!
